Hidey ho friends Oh how I have missed you!!! However, in true FELINE Fashion
I am back with a Tale to beat all Tales!!!
I am back with a Tale to beat all Tales!!!
It seems, quite unintentionally, I gave my Mom and Dad way too much excitement Sunday, April 26th
I’ve had my excitement for the day.
I for reason, known only to me, decided to slip out door. They saw this streak of greased lightning run passed them and up a tree!
Mom tried to catch this fleeing feline.
I went higher.
Mom tried to catch this fleeing feline.
Dad attempted to get me to come down with a ladder. I told him ladders are for sissies not Fearless Felines.
This feline was feeling frisky and guess what?
I went higher.
Mom and Dad finally sat down and waited..and waited...and waited. Till my curiosity had been satisfied.
I came down, ran right to front door, and ran in when Mom opened it...
That is my story and I'm sticking to it, only I know why I did it
BUT
I will say I learned that home is the best place to be!
Guess What my loving mom did?
She put huge signs on all the doors to outside that have one word on them!!!
KAT
I guess that is to remind them to look before the leave

Please tell everyone we miss them, and we want everyone to stay well...
We are all well here! We just miss our lives being normal and carefree like they were when we were in our Wheelie house.
oh how good that you came down... to call da firefighters this time is a challenge we bet... in old times they were happy for a beer as a thank you, not sure if they have still the same price LOL

ReplyDeleteOMC, Kat - that was skeery even reading it. And reminded me very much of a similar episode with my Angel Jasper! So glad you are safe.
It is just wonderful that you got your big tour out of the way before all the viral caper; some fine memories to sustain you whilst in lockdown. Pawhaps your burst to the tree was a protest??? Hugs and whiskeries, YAM-aunty xxx
It was scary for your people, Kat, but I have to applaud you. Flynn was a champion tree climber and used to try and scare me by going right to the top and out onto the flimsiest looking branches. He could come back down almost as fast as he went up.
ReplyDeleteWe are so happy that you decided to come down on your own and back inside safe and snug with Pup, Kat! What an adventure!
ReplyDeleteOh dearie me. My brother Angel Sammy once climbed WAY WAY WAY up in a BIG BIG tree once when he was a wee cat and my Dad had to get out the big ladder and climb WAY WAY WAY up and rescue him as he was screaming "Help I can't get down!".........Dad tucked Sammy in his leather jacket (this was winter of course) and down they came. Sammy never climbed a tree again. Lesson learned.
ReplyDeleteHugs, Teddy
Well Kat, I have a different perspective on this story. I am just so green with envy at how you kitties climb up trees so easily. How I would love to be able to do this.
ReplyDeleteToodle pip!
Bertie.
Happy Birthday to Angel Madi's Dad. I am sorry I missed it yesterday but I took a couple, maybe 3 days off from the internet. Kat I am happy you made it back down and decided home inside was the place to be. ZCat tried that once and that was enough for all of us.
ReplyDeleteI have seen Bob climb up and down a ladder like that when it was leaned against the barn. Kat, you probably scared Mom and Dad a good one.
ReplyDeleteI am so glad you started the Kat cat tale with a warning no Kat's were harmed. that is a scary, scary story. Happy dance that it ended well... and no fireman had to be called. ha ha... Also Dad climbing that ladder made me nervous as a KAT. ha ha
ReplyDeleteOh noes! Kat, we follow several rescue groups, that climb trees to save kitties who are stuck up there!
ReplyDeleteYou do NOT want to get stuck, but we understand your curiosity.
Just keep it on the ground from now on, okay?
At least it's a happy ending. That's frightening for sure. Ladders are for humans, not cats.
ReplyDeleteThank you for joining the Happy Tuesday Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Happy Tuesday. Big hug to Auntie Cecilia. ♥
OMD, what an adventure!! I don't think I could climb a tree like that, but we don't have any tall ones anyway.
ReplyDeleteWow! Kat sure got real high up in that tree. We're glad he came down and went straight inside when he had enough of sitting in the tree. It's good to hear that he and his family are doing well.
ReplyDeleteMy goodness Kat, you sure were way, way up there! I'm glad you finally decided to head back inside, that must have been a relief to your Mom and Dad.
ReplyDeleteWe are a day off in our birthday wishes! We are sure angel Madi had a great day.
ReplyDeletePs we still have snow in the backyard . . . At least no new snow has fallen in a few days.
ReplyDeleteOMD! None of my kitty cat cousins ever did anything like that before! Wow! Glad Kat made it back into the house!
ReplyDeleteWe think curling up with Pup looks more comfy. But what an adventure, Kat!
ReplyDeleteKat, we hope you get all that friskiness out of your system. When our neighbors first moved in here, one of their cats foolishly decided to come in our yards. We set him right about THAT, and he bolted over the fence and up a tree. He was up there so long that the Dad got out a big ladder and brought him down: Good thing he didn't go any higher or they would have had to call for a hook and ladder fire truck:)
ReplyDeleteWoos, Lightning and Timber
OMD Kat, you are a most fearless kitty kat!!
ReplyDeletexoxo,
Rosy, Jakey & Arty
You were very naughty Kat! Glad you are OK.
ReplyDeletewowow glad you made it back down safely!
ReplyDeleteHOLY PINE SAP! Dude, that was kerazy! Maybe it's the terrierist in us, butts I agree with Bertie, I am so envious! I wish I could climb trees! Then I could catch those friggin' tree rats once and for all!! Anyhu, I am glads you decided to come down, and the Pops didn't slip on that long ladder, and you will not do that again! ☺
ReplyDeleteKeep healthy and safe, and keep the peeps paws washed!
Kisses,
Ruby ♥
pees: we missed you too!
Kat you are one wild at heart kitty. We sure like trees and we hope you dont go up and cant get down
