we love them!!! but not if they jump up behind us and fly away with a scary noise hahahaha... the dad landed on da butt with shock and the mama jumped up in the air, as mr. mallard yelled & disappeared... and the fearless hunters were on the way back to the car in a a wild stampede...
What a nice birdie! We're keeping a look-out for ducks. They usually make a stop near our yard every year at this time before flying over to the pond on the other side of the neighborhood.
Aw, this was a really nice post. In idea I would like to put in writing like this additionally – taking time and actual effort to make a very good article… but what can I say… I procrastinate alot and by no means seem to get something done.

It's been YEARS since I saw a mallard! I'm not entirely sure why, maybe it's the green, but I've always been especially fascinated by them.

ReplyDeleteMallard are such lovely ducks! I love hearing them "talk" to each other!
ReplyDeleteThe sounds of a duck always make me smile. It sounds like they are laughing so hard and can't stop and then I start laughing as well.
