Cat's Bill of Rights #14

I have the right to nap at any time and place
(counter top snoopervising the meal prep)
I darn well please without distractions
(on top of the exact page of the newspaper Mom is reading)

of being called or moved just because you may want to
use the computer or take a nap
or you might need to get into the cold box
(I only move if you are preparing my food)
As stated, in Chicken Soup for the Cat Lover's Soul: Lovin' Your Cat

  1. With your pink cap and laser eyes we can tell you mean business with this one. Cindi Lou would agree that napping where one pleases is most certainly a kitty's right but she is napping on my desk right now and does not want to be disturbed. I just wish she would let me have my mouse back (she is using it as a pillow)!

    Have a Super Saturday!

    Hugs & Purrs,
    J and Cindi Lou

  12. You are so right, Madi, a Diva can sleep where ever she wants!
I try that as much as possible, even though I am not a diva. However, I hear my mom mumble "Your Majesty" every so often. So that's good! My subjects recognize my regal breed!

    Raider

  13. Gosh, Madi, kittehs suuuuure do have a lotta rights. I'm glad you're telling us what they all are so that I can write them down and remember them so I don't infringe on the rights of Abby or Capn Ripley.

    Mayzie

  16. That's it. Being in the way, having to know everything and being the boss is just all part of the kitty rights.
