Symmetry and Art on Saturday

 Building Art.
Wish you were here.
I watched the artists at work, the letters are 3D.
It is on a busy street without much legal parking so I never stop

Guess where???
If you said LOGAN'S you would be right.

 They’re Baaaaack!!!
The deer have returned and they’re chomping away on the ivy.

I’m training them to eat the grass so Mom won’t have to mow as often! 😹

Mom says it’s always a joy to see them, even when they have a mouthful of ivy. 😻
I’m staying inside so they don’t nibble on me❣️😹❤️

Now for the most impawtant part of Feline Friday ME!!!

Monday August 22, I went to my vet for my annual checkup & shots. Vet tech Tara took me in back to weigh me (10.5 lbs of purr-fection),

and when she brought me back she told Mom I had been saying dirty words! Teeheehee!

😹😹😹

 Dearest Rocky

I think Mom needs to remind the deer of this song.
Moms and teachers used to sing it to their children all the time.

from the mid 1940's
It starts out.....
“Mares eat oats
Does eat oats (not ivy)
Little lambs eat Ivy”

Good job getting them to eat the green grass, maybe they will think it is ivy!
Oh Rocky Auntie HiC is so very happy your annual Vet visit went well. You are 10.5 pounds furry love
Mol mol mol Good idea to remind Vet Tech Tara you are Rocky da boss man.
BTW your eyes are absolutely gorgeous
Lovingly your Auntie HiC

Thoroughly Poetic Thursdays #83

Today is Poetic Thursday hosted by our pals Teddy and Angel Sammy

at Two Spoiled Cats

Today's photo prompt is

Early Happy Birthday (August 28) to Big M aka Sis of Angel Madi...this photo challenge reminded me of her first set of wheels. This is a recycled poem in 2020, it was # 1 of 83 Thoroughly Poetic Thursday Challenges.

Big M
(her Dad gave her that nickname and sometimes still uses it)
In 1972 she was out of the playpen
the but the tree was in.
She had inquisitive hands.
It looked funny but at least it would not
fall on her head.
She was ready to go but her legs were slow.
She had wheels but was lacking skills.
Our hope was by spring she'd grow.
No worries though she traversed the living room
like a pro.
Oh that look of pure glee on her first Christmas
remains in my mind's eye to this very day.

Happy Tuesday

Thank you to our

 Hostess Sandee at Comedy Plus

Dearest Auntie HiC

I know you and Mom have been reading the FBI K-9 series by Sara Driscoll, about K9 Agent Meg and her black Lab Hawk.  Mom says it brings back memories of our sweet Buddy.
He was such a gentle soul, and I loved cuddling with him.

He was big, goofy, handsome, and a lover❣️Always in our hearts. ❤️

Volume up please...

❤️ Kat

Kat the squeal you just heard was Auntie.  Oh do I love the memories I have from my very first blogging days of Da Lab Trio of Buddy, Sassy and Zack.  You sweet kitty were very lucky to known and loved Buddy.  He was such a gentle soul. He sure did have a spring in his step in the video.  I bet he was heading toward you sweet Mama.

Awww Monday and Sparks

MY SERENE Sunday was been hijacked by blogger telling me
my "Connection was Interrupted, network changed detected" 😠
Each time I try to open my blog or  go to another blog.

Here's to Awww Monday being normal!!

Mom took me out to the front yard, off leash, to do my business.   I immediately stuck my nose nose in the air and the hair & the fur down my back (hackles) went up like a Mohawk haircut. 😹She brought me in, pulling on my collar.

She looked out back and saw what I had smelled! 🐻

Mom loves seeing the bears, but they make me nervous! But, don’t worry, I’ll keep my eyes open and nose sniffing for those rascals.

❤️ Pup

Dearest Darlin' Brave Pup!!!
OMDs BooBoo Bear needs to learn there is only one King of Mt Harland and that is you.  I think BooBoo was wise to back away from your deck!!!  Good for you keeping your nose in the air and your head on a swivel.

NOW that I have said all of this may I please shout to the sky at the top of my lungs how very very x 100 handsome you are. WOW what a gorgeous photo.
Hugs and auntie kisses

Serene Sunday

What one can see from the porch featured on Symmetry Saturday  August 20, 2022

The Shallotte River passes through the town. It is 5.93 miles from Shallotte to Ocean Isle Beach in southwest direction and 9 miles (14.48 kilometers) by car, following the NC 179 route. Shallotte and Ocean Isle Beach are 17 minutes far apart, if you drive non-stop

Not to be confused with Charlotte, NC which is ~ 6 hours inland from Shallotte, NC.
