TODAY'S WORD IS
JOKESTER
As in, Mom you are such a
JOKESTER
telling me you are taking me to the
Blogville Olympics...when in fact you took me to the
Vet for my Senior Well Cat check up
Kitties, puppies and 2 leggers I'm happy to report I passed my check up with flying colors.  Note my pleased a punch exit
from my PTU.

FYI:  That little speck you see on the towel is
some N A S  T Y low calorie cat treat my vet gave me.
Madi and low calorie should not be used in the same sentence.
HE IS SUCH A
JOKESTER

Yep the dreaded "D" word was mentioned; however, I don't know why.  Last year I weighed 11.2 lbs, this year I weight 11.4 lbs.
Unreliable sources told Mom I should be getting only a total of 1/2 cup of kibble a day...I'm getting 2/3 cups.
I heard Mom say, I can reduce her Kibble...I'll let you know how that goes.  Mom might  be bigger but I can YOWL louder.

Yes, I'm disgusted...they put something wet on my chest then
stole my precious Diva blood...see my furs are still wet

I hope and purr it doesn't take me 87 days to groom away the
stench from the Vets office.
Note from Mom:  I took about  20 consecutive pictures of Madi grooming her chest

All I can say is thank goodness today's Blogville Events including swimming.
I just might have to take a quick dip in the pool to get clean

WORDS WEDNESDAY: 2 Days to go

Yesterday I told you about Mom and the gray goo  at Crabtree Valley Mall...
Today I'm heels of head excited to tell you about the
40th Anniversary of Crabtree Valley Mall.
They have been bringing in lots of purrty things for the celebration

Last Tuesday (when Mom did not have her camera) there were men on a mobile lift all the way at the top of the skylights with drills.  On Wednesday (when mom did not have her camera) morning Mom and Dad saw this beautiful sparkly ball
It is anchored with one very thick cable and three other thinner cables at different angles.
BOYS and GIRLS it has a motor on it and was spinning and the sun was coming in the skylights making lots of pretty reflections.
On Friday when mom did have her camera it was cloudy and the ball was not spinning.  MOL

And you notice in this picture all around the ceiling of the mall
they have lights that appear to be racing and they turn different colors

Maybe now that Mom has all these purrty things to look at inside she will not go traipsing around the parking look  stepping in gray goo (see Tuesday July 24 post).

Tuesday Tale of one Shoe: 3 Days to go

On several blogs, during the summer we have seen posts that ask...

JUST HOW HOT IS IT....
We are about to tell you just how hot it was in our fine city.
Every morning, rain, shine, snow or heat wave Mom and Dad go to Crabtree Valley Mall to take a walk indoors. Some days they will venture out into the parking just to see just how hot it is.
It was hot enough to make the joint compound in the parking lot turn to gray goo.

Exhibit 1
At about the time Mom was asking Dad what is that smell, her foot was stuck in gray goo...as the old saying goes..first you step in it then you smell it. MOL.
I gave it the Madi Sniff test which it failed
Exhibit 2
I was so amazed by the mess Mom made I gave her other shoe a sniff but it was clean. I thought that was a good thing but it wasn't!!

These shoes were not even 6 months old. AND MOM REFUSES to throw them away.  She has tried everything she knows but cannot get it out of the groves and the gray goo is actually still sticky.
PSA
If you, or any one you know happened to step in gray goo or cow poo, with your left Nike Pegasus 270GTX, size 9, and your right shoe is clean...Mom would love to make you an offer you cannot refuse....just leave a message in the comments
Sincerely,
Madi

I's on Monday with Madi: 4 Days to go

IAMS IS AN OFFICIAL SPONSOR OF THE LONDON OLYMPICS AND
PET BLOGS UNITED
IAMS sent Oskar and his mom IAMS Olympic pet bandannas for all the event hosts of the Blogville Olympics.

I received the beautiful green IAMS scarf today.  I think the green looks lovely with my green eyes too!! Oskar's Mom
asked us to send her a picture of me wearing it. Of course I had to give it a good sniff first.

I usually do not wear anything except my gray furs; however, I decided since it was for the Olympics I would be happy to kind of wear it. This is as close as I get to wearing anything

Mom says as far as IAM(s) (pun intended) concerned there is never enough softness under me.  I can have a down stuffed comforter under my tush but sure as you put something else on top of the comforter I will sit on top of that too as seen in these pics.

Oskar, Mom and IAMS I thank you very much for this lovely scarf. I wear it with pride and will always keep it close to my heart.
Sincerely,
Madi hostess of Blogville Olympics
