 Thankful Thursday hosted

Teddy and Mom have been in the process of getting and learning all about a new internet provider 

Today I will share a few things that give me lots of Thankfuls

1. Brian's house for hosting this wonderful day to share our thankfuls

2. Teddy & Angel Sammy for inspiring poetry with their photos.

3.  Friends near and far that are stop by to say hi you make me smile

4. The very lovely coolish mornings for a nice walk outside

5.  City of Raleigh finally approved a LOCATION for our Generac 

whole house generator.  It will be installed on October 15, 2026. 

I'm thinking names for it will keep you posted.

Thank you to Kit for snapping this most wonderful video of her humming bird  at her Lantana

Kit and I are lovers of these winged Jewels.  We have a happy Hummingbird

dance the first day we see them in the spring.  Happily keep their feeders clean and stocked with fresh sugar water all summer.

I keep a HB log book.  I know when they arrive each year, which is mid April, and the last sighting

in the fall. Fall 2025 I last saw them on 9/26/25.

I always leave my feeder up for a week or so after the last sighting.

To our little jewels we say thank you coming

Safe travels to your winter home.

 Today day I'd like to tell you a tale about 2 ducks

 

these two ducks....

They aren't just any old ducks...they
are special ducks...

The are made from golf clubs...

see mom is holding each of them 

so you can see their duck bellies..

We think they are quite clever

so when you see them coming be sure to 

duck.

in a very very long time.
