My husband took a mini road trip to

Debbie's Hallmark Card Shop for the Truffles

 No more Baskin Robbins  Ice Cream stores in our area

BUT we found an excellent replacement in the frozen dessert section at 

Harris Teeter Grocery Store.

2 pieces of Chocolate Creme Ice Box Cake

2 pieces of Key Lime

We'll both get a taste of each.

My neighbor's husband took this photo of a white deer in their backyard, Friday 12/30/22 at 5:15 pm. 

Their home is at bottom of the cul-de-sac

 There were also about 4 blackish deer they had white tails. The picture of the black deer isn't as clear.  

There are often random sightings of white deer in the southern part of the county but never in our 'hood. WOWOWOWOWOWOWOW

Today is Flashback to January 6, 2014

She might have been enduring this session.  She often tolerated lots of craziness 

from me just for the sake of blogging.

I thank Ellen, 15 cats and meowing, and  Lorianne of Four-Legged Furballs for thinking of the fill-ins.

1. January is a good month to update contact information.

2. My favorite kind of pizza is  FREE we recently we had a coupon, but otherwise it is our homemade with pepperoni, green peppers, mushrooms, onions and artichokes.

3. The new year just began and I’m already for Spring

4. My typical weekend involves Saturday Lunch at Seaboard Cafe.

My Furry Nephews saw this..it reminded them of my 

Son-in law 
who is an excellent cook and lover of cats.  When he met my daughter, he had never been around cats.  Since they have been married they have been owned by 4 cats.

Milky-Way was our first cat as a family.

Cali, a calico Cornish Rex,  was my daughter's first cat

Cali was 5 years old when she met my future son-in-law

Harley, a gray(blue) and white Cornish Rex was my daughter and son-in-law's first cat together

Mia, Tortie and Frisco, Ginger man, are Felines in residence now.

Mia is her Daddy's girl and likes riding on his shoulders

Frisco is his Mama's boy her lap is his favorite place!!
