Nature Friday host LLB Gang and Feline Friday with our new Hostess Miss Mimi
My neighbor's husband took this photo of a white deer in their backyard, Friday 12/30/22 at 5:15 pm.
Their home is at bottom of the cul-de-sac
There were also about 4 blackish deer they had white tails. The picture of the black deer isn't as clear.
There are often random sightings of white deer in the southern part of the county but never in our 'hood. WOWOWOWOWOWOWOW

Today is Flashback to January 6, 2014
The title was Easy Care, Wrinkle Free
She might have been enduring this session. She often tolerated lots of craziness
from me just for the sake of blogging.
I thank Ellen, 15 cats and meowing, and Lorianne of Four-Legged Furballs for thinking of the fill-ins.
1. January is a good month to update contact information.2. My favorite kind of pizza is FREE we recently we had a coupon, but otherwise it is our homemade with pepperoni, green peppers, mushrooms, onions and artichokes.3. The new year just began and I’m already for Spring4. My typical weekend involves Saturday Lunch at Seaboard Cafe.

ReplyDeleteOh I say - that was quite the sight! And always a delight to see Madi again. YAM xx
I heart Madi.
ReplyDeleteA white deer!?!! Wow.
I have never had artichokes on pizza.
WOW! That is cool. Madi, oh how I miss you. Free pizza is good, but I would have to nix the green peppers.
ReplyDeleteWow is the word! I have never seen a white deer and when we were on the Tiny Ten, we saw a lot of deer. I love it when you do the Fill-Ins! I think your choice of pizza toppings sounds very good. I couldn't do the green pepper but everything else, we need to give a try. Thank the heavens you do Saturdays at Seaboard... fun to see your photos and hear the lunch choices! Madi Mom team certainly brightened my day. I think she enjoyed your craziness♥
ReplyDeleteWow - we have never seen a white deer before! You were always such a good sport, Madi♥
ReplyDeleteYes, that print belongs to a deer.
DeleteWe always love seeing Angel Madi!
ReplyDeleteI did not know deer come in black or white, wow is right. Dear sweet Madi, you were easy care and oh so loved. I rather do your saturday than my saturday which is sweep the floors that bob will mop, while he vacs, shop walmart, walk dog after shopping, put up supplies and collaspe in a chair....
ReplyDeleteThere is a herd of white deer that lives at the former Seneca army depot not too far from where we live. You can read more about them here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Seneca_white_deer . We believe Madi was always "easy care" wasn't she?
ReplyDeleteVery interesting! Thank you for the link!
DeleteThat is nice to see a white deer.

ReplyDeleteWow a white deer? Never seen one myself. Great fill-ins! And your wrinkle free kitty is quite patient with you! Cheers!
ReplyDeleteI have never heard of a white deer- very pretty. Thank you for participating in the fill-ins, great answers. Going to the cafe for lunch every weekend sounds fun. XO
ReplyDeleteI am so grateful your neighbor had a phone camera at hand! Black and also white deer...never had the awe inspiring pleasure to see such a thong. I am so impressed! By the way. Ange; Madi. I read your labels and they areal perfectly cprrect/ You have all of those attributes, and the wrinkle free one just stands right out as correct!
ReplyDeleteSuch a beautiful white deer!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI am sooooo ready for Spring too!
I've never seen white deer. White squirrels, yes, but not deer. It's beautiful!
ReplyDeleteLunch out every Saturday sounds like a delightful outing.
Your Angel Madi was very patient and i guess if we had fur, we'd be wrinkle free, too, or you wouldn't see the wrinkles anyway.
Thanks for participating in Feline Friday!
That white deer is super special. That was a really cute flashback and good fill-in answers too!
ReplyDeleteI think white deer bring good fortune
ReplyDeleteThere is an area near Lake Seneca that has lots of those white deer. Here's a link: https://deerhavenpark.org/
ReplyDeleteHmmm, artichokes on pizza sounds good. Maybe some olives to?
That white deer is gorgeous! We have tons of deer around here but we've never seen a white one. How lovely to see our dear sweet Angel Madi even with a sign on her back (haha). We miss her. My Mom and Dad had pizza for dinner last night - it weighed about ten pounds with all the stuff they put on it!
ReplyDeleteHugs, Teddy
Awww, we miss sweet Madi!!!
ReplyDeleteWe have never seen either white or black deer. That white one is stunning. Great catch by your neighbor.

How cool is that? I've never seen a white deer before. Never seen a black one either. Very, very cool. Cheers, Ivy.
