I replied OMCs yes indeedy I would love to use this on Nature Friday.  It has been eons since I saw a gen-u-wine Red Headed woodpecker.  The little jewel is smack in the middle of the photo on a limb.

There’s been an Invasion of Catnip Mice on the hill. 

As you recall, Katie Isabella & Ms. Carole sent us a surprise package which included 3 catnip mice.

 

OMC, we had no idea how much fun we would have with these little rascals!

Mom said the mice brought out the kittens in us! Unfortunately, we have a situation: MMIA! Mouse Missing in Action! You should see Mom on her hands and knees looking for the missing mouse! 😹😹😹

FYI, Walmart has the mice marked down & Dad bought us a bag of 10

today! The more the merrier.

Mom and I are passionate bird watchers! Dad rolls me outside (I’m not fat, just fluffy😻), so we can play “Identify that Bird”!

We use the Merlin Bird ID app to verify our guesses. I always beat Mom!

Here’s a list of the birds we heard in less than 10 minutes.

It’s so relaxing that I often end up dozing off! 😹
