Flower Friday and Earth Day

If it is Friday, it must be Flower Friday with Dory...

Okey dokey these are the last of the blooms in our yard.  Hopefully we'll find

some more lovely flowers.  Actually, the Pansies...are left over from last fall.

Dad thought they were gone but lo and behold they bloomed again...
(probably due to all the rain we had from Jan-March)

He will have to replace them as soon as the 3 H's arrive (hot, hazy, humid).

The other day this gigantic crow landed on our bird bath
Mom got a kick out of the way he looked at the neighbor's fake Owl
She imagined this conversation:

fake Owl:  What  are you?
real Crow: Who are you?

 real Crow:  Who are you looking at

fake Owl: You who else?

 fake Owl:  Hey you are supposed to be afraid of me

Real Crow: Who you?  No way, I just flew in, I'm thirsty and 

and dirty. BUT I can't even take a bird bath in this tiny thing

The other day mom was playing WWF.

She looked down up to see me sitting in this Sunpuddle.

Lickety split she goes to the camera app on her iPad

clicks this photo.  No adjustments made to the 

photo.  Lo and Behold 1/2 of me appeared to be white

washing out  and the other 1/2 gray.  

Sometimes our observant buddy Mad Snapper will see things in my photo that stir up questions in her MAD Snapper mind.  She will email mom asking what is this and that.  MS we hope we answered your questions before you could ask them

Mayor 2017 Candy Dates announcement

We introduce our candy dates (in alphabetical order):

Arty is putting his paws in the pawlitical scene after watching his sister Dory who has been actively involved in the current administration.  Arty lives over at "Dory's Backyard".  Please visit him by clicking HERE!
