THURSDAY scary Tale

WARNING TO

MY BLOG has gone to the birds......

The other day this gigantic crow landed on our bird bath
Mom got a kick out of the way he looked at the neighbor's fake Owl
She imagined this conversation:
fake Owl:  What  are you?
real Crow: Who are you?

real Crow:  Who are you looking at
fake Owl: You who else?

fake Owl:  Hey you are supposed to be afraid of me
Real Crow: Who you?  No way, I just flew in, I'm thirsty and
and dirty. BUT I can't even take a bird bath in this tiny thing

  2. Crows are such intelligent birds. Far too smart to be taken in by a fake owl!

  3. hahahaha- we could totally see how this would play out! The crows go into my mom's student's backpacks and take out their food and eat it! Their favorite snack is goldfish crackers.

  20. We tried to use a fake owl to scare off the scads of little birds that invaded our tree last year. They were pooping all over our yard and mom found dead baby birds on the ground after a wind storm - it was awful. Sadly they ignored the owl

  23. Wowzers! That's one huge birdie! I almost had two Robins fly right into me and Mom yesterday! I mean we felt the wind buffer off of them, that's how close they were. I'd like a do-over, because I just really wasn't prepared for that!

  24. Oh, those crows are NASTY!!! They kill smaller burdies and are super duper noisey and mean!
I help Ma chase them away from our yardie, butts this year we've been lucky cause they have moved a couple of streets over, so it's not too bad.
    Kisses,
    Ruby ♥

  25. We hope that fake owl gave that crow a good "hoot" or two - those big birds are not nice to the smaller ones - AND they are big hogs - they eat all the food themselves.

  26. Maybe the fake owl needs to go undercover?

  27. We guess that owl needs to do a better job if he is supposed to keep the crows away. We have a neighbor that puts out hunks of stale bread for the birds and the crows fly over to our bird baths to dip them in to soften them when the bread is too hard. Those crows are very smart.

  28. MOL! That was a good conversation between Fake Owl and Mr Crow.

  29. Sometimes we really wonder if those fake birds are to just keep the other birds company!! BOL!
