TUESDAY THIS AND THAT

 THIS IS MY HAPPY FACE
You know how to tell..
My ears are straight up.

THAT IS A  CRYSTAL BIRD CHANDELIER
MoM took this last Friday during our
Sleet and ice event
 THAT IS OUR JAPANESE MAPLE
COVERED IN ICE
It was glistening when Mom took the picture
I don't think she could get any closer because she was afraid
she would fall and bust her chin wide open.
(MOL, she says this all the time when I jump
finally I can say it to her)!!

BREAKING NEWS (literally)
We had about 1/2 " ice Friday night, pictured above.
Saturday morning at 9:30 my 83 year old
Grandpa decided it was a good idea to got out
to get his paper down his steep drive way.
We don't know why he thought this was a good idea.
BECAUSE it was not!!
He fell and slid down the drive way.
He had lots of scratches on his legs, shin and chin.
He also hit is nose and caught himself on is hand.
Yesterday he found out his right hand and nose are broken.
He is very lucky it was no worse than it is.....

My grandpeeps have a home health aide  24/7 but there
are some things she cannot like bills, groceries etc so Mom will be in and out. Mom has several post  pre set for posting but our
commenting and visiting will be scattered about.
We will keep you updated.

  6. The crystal chandelier feeder is down right ritzy! We think the little birdies felt very special eating there. Of course they were probably happy to have the cover over their heads.
Sorry to hear about your Grandpa Madi. We hope he gets better soon and doesn't make any more trips down the slick driveway.

  12. That is a pawsome picture of the bird feeders! But we are so sorry to hear about Grandpa. Believe me, Mommy can totally relate! (Mom said she will reply to your Mom's e-mail when she gets a few quiet moments. And we all know that Grandpa Bob keeps her on her toes so it may be a day or two.) Madi, please give your Mom a big hug from my Mom and tell her to hang in there!

    Hugs,

  13. Gee, your G-Pa really keeps your Mom hopping with all his antics, doesn't he? Hope he is better soon! Maybe Mom could use some roller skates to get things done quicker? Just a thought.

  14. Grandpa's care must come before all of us. We hope he has a speedy recovery.

Our Lady's grandpa once thought that doing roofing work on the hottest day of the year was a good idea when he was 75. We think older people can be stubborn!

    Take care.

  30. Oh dear Madi, we are very sorry. Our HGD had a bad fall last September so we know how it is. It can take the older folk a long time to get over these things. We do hope he is healing well. Probably no use telling him to take extra care and stay indoors though (based on our experience...)

I think it is funny that your mom tells you you are gonna bust your chin wide open! I am glad she did not hurt herself trying to take a picture though - that would have not been good!
