One of my favorite spots in my home is
in, what used to be the first Diva's my human sis's
room. It is on the front of the house and away from
all the commotion mom makes...yes it is true Mom can be
L O U D
Above the bed where I rest is a cross stitching called
AN IRISH BLESSING
It is a favorite of Mom's
In case you can't read it...Mom typed it for you.
May the road rise up to meet you.
May the wind be always at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face;
the rains fall soft upon your fields
and until we meet again,
may God hold you in the palm of His hand.
May the wind be always at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face;
the rains fall soft upon your fields
and until we meet again,
may God hold you in the palm of His hand.
I think this is a very nice place to nap and mediate
It might be quiet up here but never fear
the smell of bacon, turkey and corn bread cooking
always find their way to my delicate nose.
Double Blessing
I have the house to myself!!
My peeps have left the building for the morning.
Today is the first full day of the NC State Fair.
They left early to attend before the crowds arrive
back in the afternoon.

Madi...Guess what's one of Twinkie's favorite napping spots? Her human sis's old room! Sometimes when human sis comes home she shuts Twinkie out of the room, and Twinkie paws at the door until she gets let in...it is Twinkie's room now!
ReplyDeleteYep that is a great blessing. My MOM likes it to. I don't have any human siblings, so every room is mine.
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Goose
Glad they didn't leave that door closed. And we hope they remember to bring you some treats!

Sounds wonderful Madi, shall I join you? We all love to smell bacon cooking! Happy Friday from your main mancat, Prancer Pie.
ReplyDeleteA place to meditate with in range of the smell of bacon. Sounds perfect. (Says Gail!)
ReplyDeleteIt is only right and proper that one diva should inherit the bedroom from another.
ReplyDeleteThank Dog the smells can still reach you.
Have a nice peaceful napping day Madi.

I love having a quiet house too, Madi! Maybe your humans will bring you back something yummy from the fair!
ReplyDeleteAhhhhhhhhhh, county fairs. Such a fun time. You, dear Diva, enjoy the less commotion and noise while they're away and then...when they come home, have a little bacon bits for me too ........will ya?!!!
ReplyDeleteWe hope you get some of that yummy bacon! Enjoy the peace and quiet while you can get it.

You get the quiet and the go where the noise is sweet Madi. Fair indeed!!!
ReplyDeleteThat is purrfect serene room Madi and you look very content resting on your quilt.
ReplyDeletePurrs,
Willow
Enjoy your peace and quiet Madi. If your mom is as noisy as ours you deserve it. Between the sucky beast and that big thing she throws the human clothes into and swishes them with water it's a miracle any of us kitties every get any sleep.
