Monday Madi Mews

As we age, (I'll be 14 in March) we have to start watching things.  My vet suggested I have a mini check up every January.  It is a quick oral, some blood sucking and listening to my ticker.  In July I get all my boosters etc.....so this being said.  I have a burning question. Mom received a reminder about the January mini check up she is older than dirt and dinosaurs combined, she might not even remember her name pictured below.
FYI: THAT IS NOT ME!! IT KINDA LOOKS LIKE MY NEPHEW FRISCO.
In my humble opinion, since they got the wrong mug shot, I should not have to go.
Mom tried to tell me it was a generic card.....but I'm standing firm

NOT MADI
she must request a DO OVER !!
This is the photo to be used on the DO OVER!!
I gave her a very stern looking telling her there will be no vet visit until they get it right!!

The REAL MADI
Sadly, I heard her make my mini appointment for Friday, January 15.
Ummm me and Doc S might just have to have  face to face talk about this slip up.
Who is this orange dude?

I'm wise to their slack record keeping.  They better not try in funny stuff with me.

Sincerely
Madi(son) D. Smart Cat

  7. That is not your picture on that card, Madi. Therefore, you should not have to go!

  8. If it's not your photo on the card, you don't have to go to the vet.... right?

  9. Don't worry Madi ... You'll be here for a long time yet? Those ginger blokes look good but you black blokes (ok I know you are a Sheila but it's an Aussie thing) have longevity on your side. My Two legged sister's Fergus (he looks just like you) is 21 next year.

  10. You don't look a day over 5! I am sure your mini-appointment will go just fine! I have to have my teeth cleaned (and possibly two pulled) in a few weeks. Not looking forward to that either, but I'm sure we will both be just fine.

  14. Oh No that bad vet place. They should know what that great Madi looks like. We sure send purrs that the vet visit goes well for you. Stay warm.

  15. You would be a much better model for their reminder card. You need to tell the vet to change it Madi. And show him your big toofie smile.

  16. I think maybe the vet needs a mini check up on HIS eyes..and maybe the old one two with the jabby stick...he must be senile..poor old codger..hope you sort it out Madi :) Loves Fozziemum xx

  17. It seems my vet does the same thing; always sending the wrong card for my appointments. I say, if the cat looks nothing like you on the card, you do not have to go Madi.

  20. Madi, I think the vet should use your picture for his reminder appointment cards! Keep us updated on your visit.

  21. Everyone hates check ups but it is better for you that the Dr. detects anything early, Madi!
But they really should have your photo on the reminder!

  27. Hey Madi!
Wow, that's just all wrong! I think you should get to skip this one too. Besides, you're so amazingly photogenic that there's no excuse for not having you on their card. Great job with the stink eye.

  31. They definitely need to know to send the right card with the right kitteh! PS: there is a rumour going on here at Chez Whiskeratti that I, Leia, might be heading into the Stabby Place on Caturday for my shots. I HOPE it's not true.

  32. Oh, we would demand an answer too! Especially since you have to go anyway. It's not your job to make it easy, since clearly, they've been taking it so easy they mixed up the photos! Get answers, Madi!

  33. Oh Madi! Just be careful they don't start touching you where they shouldn't

  35. Maybe that orange kit-cat is a new vet at your clinic and he's saying that it's time for your check up. He looks pretty handsome ... maybe he'll be there!
    Yours sincerely,

  36. It is wrong that they didn't use your picture on your invitation to visit them, but at least they did use one of a handsome ginger.

  38. OMD, how is the vet supposed to figure ANYTHING out if they can't even find your picture?! Stand firm, Madi!

    ReplyDelete
  39. We think you're right. Too bad your mom already made your appointment. We bet you will do just fine.

    ReplyDelete
  40. We hafta agree with you, Madi. There must be some orange kitty out there named Madi that needs to go to the vet, not you.

    ReplyDelete
  41. You better keep your eyes on them! BTW, a girl at mom's physical therapist's office is named Madi and mom told her all about you! Now mom thinks the other Madi thinks mom is nuts!

  42. Madi, you need to tell Doc S that his office needs to use YOUR photo as their poster kitty for all correspondence to ALL clients!!!

Good luck with your visit. Ciara had blood work today to check her thyroid and her liver values.

  43. Madi, I do understand how you feel and I agree that is for sure not you on the card. I want to be safe and healthy so please go in for me. I have to go soon to for something called a bobblectomy. It is a boy thing and I am a little nervous. I will comfort you if you comfort me. We are in this together.

    Ziggy your brudder Out!

  44. Sorry you have to go for a check up, but it is a good idea. I do think you should be on the postcard though, maybe you could get a deal with the veterinarian to use your photo for a fee.
