Mom often tells...tales about me not being a lap cat.
yes they are true!!
But what she doesn't tell is the tale that I am
100% a HellBow cat. One of my favorite things to
do is to sit by her on the weekends when she and Dad are having a leisurely breakfast. I love using her HellBow as a pillow.
Now I just need to convince her to stay in this position
furever!!
Every kitty has her preferences!
ReplyDeleteBut Madi we are horrified! Was your Mom never told "elbows off the table" when she was a child? Or, as HGD used to say, "All joint on the table will be carved".
ReplyDeleteToodle pip!
Bertie.
Madi, we think you're part scottie. We don't like being lap dogs.
ReplyDeleteI know how ya feel Madi, I'd rather be next to my momma dan on her.
ReplyDeleteOh yes, I haf found that peeps do make excellent pillows...if only they would just sit still!!!!
ReplyDeleteLoves and licky kisses

We're not really lap furkids either unless thunder or fireworks are going off. We could never snooze on the table while mom and dad were eating. hehe
ReplyDeleteWell at least you get CLOSE to her - hellbows are ALMOST laps right? Well - kinda/sorta!
ReplyDeleteHugs, Sammy

ReplyDeleteFraught with danger though, Madi, are hellbows... they have a habit of rib-sticking!!! Hugs and whiskeries, YAM-aunty xxx
Hellbows can be comfy. Hailey enjoys them.
ReplyDeleteOh Madi, what a good girl you are to keep the Mom's hellbow nice and warm while she has breakfast. You are just so useful. You all have a great day.
ReplyDeleteGood spot to sit. Because you know, being a lapcat can be quite dangerous. The other day Mara pulled out a whole lot of my hair, because she was at it with those dumb needles again! Much safer to sit on the pattern.
ReplyDeletewow Madi then you are the purrfect cat for my mom... she would love it to have a warm friend next to her hellbow what's still a battle field :o)
ReplyDeleteMOL MOL MOL... i do hope it is soft enough.. you do look adorable on the HellBow.. I am what I am says Popeye the Sailorman, if he can be, you can be a non lap cat
ReplyDeleteYou are quite funny Madi. Every kitty cat has their own way and that is why we love them muchly!
ReplyDeleteMadi, you look very serene and content next to Mom's hellbow. That's what counts!
ReplyDeleteHugs and nose taps,
Molly and Kathy
Does your momma try to MOVE just as soon as you get good and comfy?? Momma does that all the time to me!
ReplyDeleteWe don't understand why they always have to move either
ReplyDeleteLily & Edward
You look like a good snuggler Madi, our wienie loves to snuggle and kiss and rub her body all over us. We hates it. stella rose
ReplyDeleteI love snuggling up against my mom - her feet, especially. I've never tried her hellbow. Maybe I should!
ReplyDeleteYours sincerely,
Margaret Thatcher
Madi, you look so pretty leaning against your mama. Our kitty Waddles was not a lap cat either, but she liked to sit very close beside us. :-)

It looks like you have purrfect table manners sweet Madi!
ReplyDeleteI agree with Brian. You are such an elegant Ladycat!
ReplyDeleteWe're not lap kitties either.

ReplyDeleteKeep Calm & Bark On!
Murphy & Stanley
That is OK if you aren't a lap cat, but at least you like to cuddle up to Mom!
ReplyDeleteI'm not a lap cat either, Madi, my LLS! But I do like being on the recliner with Mom down up against her legs.
ReplyDeleteHugs, Laila, your LLS and Minchie, your BFF
I am not a lap cat either, Madi. I do like to be held for a cuddle though.
ReplyDeleteShe should be happy you like that.
ReplyDeleteMadi, we're sure your mom doesn't mind you cuddling up to her like that.
ReplyDeleteBoys, you are one lucky kitteh Madi!!! Ma says I gots too much slobber and beard juice to use her as a pillow! I KNOWS! The nerves!!! That's okay, I fling my slobbers in her hair just to gets a little revenge.....hehehehehe
ReplyDeleteKisses,
Ruby ♥
You are one brave kitty, Miss Madi!! Hellbows can be a bit pointy!! MOL
ReplyDeleteWe use all sorts of our pawrents body parts to lay our head on when we are in the big bed.
ReplyDeleteThe next time I read a blog, I hope that it doesnt disappoint me as much as this one. I mean, I know it was my choice to read, but I actually thought you have something interesting to say. All I hear is a bunch of whining about something that you could fix if you werent too busy looking for attention.
