Basil, Bayberry, then there is Cello, Pastille, Bramblewood, Ainsley
These red berries are all over the. I think it is Nandina
Last week Nephew Kat sent me this email and video
Hu-Mum and I took a long walk this afternoon. It was so warm, I got hot in my harness. She’s looking for a cooler one for me. I told her to make sure I’ll look as handsome as I do in this one. Teeheehee! Hope you enjoyed the purr-fect weather, too. 😻

❤️ Kat, Your Feline Nephew
The video is adorable, (you might have to paste and cut to see it)...just like my Nephew Kat.

how great that the colors come back after that gray winter... and we love that kind of cat obedience school... ;O)
ReplyDeleteLooks like Kat enjoys his walks in his harness. I wonder what he saw that made him hesitate and swish his tail. The scenery in your area looks lovely.
ReplyDeleteKitteh on adventure! Out of the way, he's coming through.
ReplyDeleteI think that Kat just wants to be a dog. And who can blame him?
ReplyDeleteToodle pip!
Bertie.
Kat, it sure looks like to us that you are enjoying your walks. It is so great that you get to do that. Have a super duper Friday.
ReplyDeleteSuch pretty sights and we loved the cartoon!
ReplyDeleteLeaves at Kat's home! It is so nice to see leaves on the ground... fall leaves? I miss them. Kat is such a handsome and very good boy with his harness! Your collage has some nice pictures of what's going on in your neighborhood. Pretty sky pictures and the red berries are a nice pop of color! Good Morning!
ReplyDeletethe video is just amazing, i have never seen a cat walking on a leash in real life.. the cartoon is hilarious.. Big's walking harness would work on Kat, just across the chest and soft, this would be to hot for him... they come in Kat's size, i see them at the park on small dogs
ReplyDeleteWe have never seen a kitty with a harness and leash on taking a walk. It's amazing! The Nandina is just beautiful!
ReplyDeleteKat really seems to enjoy walking with his harness on. It's a really nice looking one too!!

ReplyDeleteWhat a beautifurs post today!!! Nandina (false bamboo) was one of my mum's fave plants - and I kinda like it too! YAM xx
Love your nature collage. That's beautiful.
ReplyDeleteKat loves the leash and going for a walk. Too cute. I spewed coffee all over he monitor with the dog versus cat walking. Love it.
Thank you for joining the Feline Friday Blog Hop.
Have a purrfect Feline Friday and weekend. My best to your peeps. ♥
Great pics. I love the video. The cartoon is a hoot
ReplyDeleteAm hoping to get Manny and CB out for walks this summer, but The Hubby thinks they might get too crazy with The 'O' Cats being out there too. I know that they'll all get along!
ReplyDeleteLOL...Kat walks better on a leash than Rosy does!!
ReplyDeleteLove your end of Winter 'hood shots...those red berries are beautiful!!
Our cat Lucy loves taking walks also! Have a great day!
ReplyDeleteThat cartoon was obviously drawn by a cat-owner......owner? cat staffer.
ReplyDeleteHa woooo! We love that cartoon -- it could easily be a Siberian instead of a cat, though.
ReplyDeleteYours sincerely,
Margaret Thatcher

ReplyDeletea long prette fast ☺☺♥♥
Mom says it would be very quaint to live on Ainsley Street:) That Kat is lucky to have gotten a walk - no walks here with more snow and bitter cold:(
ReplyDeleteWoos - Lightning, Misty, and Timber
Love that Kat goes for a walk on a leash!
ReplyDeleteOur weather is so crazy - we are currently having a white out snow storm
hugs
Hazel & Mabel
We love seeing your blue sky as well as the plants. Kat sure is a cool cat to get to go walking on leash.
ReplyDeleteI feel warmer already after looking at those gorgeous nature pictures!
ReplyDeleteThat cartoon is funny- and so accurate. XO
ReplyDeleteThe cartoon was so true! Lol! Please send spring.
ReplyDeleteI liked the pictures, especially the dark silhouette of the trees against the wispy white clouds hanging in the gorgeous blue sky. And had to laugh at the cartoon!
ReplyDeleteWe have red berries on a bunch of bushes here too. I love the Kat walking video. Oh how I wish my cats had been able to go for a walk. I don't think cat harnesses were a thing in the early 80's.
