Sparks and Awww Monday

With Pooh and Piglet

Wally the Dachshund from Drabble, finally reveals the answer to the age old question of
How a vertically challenged Dachshund can do the unimaginable.

Drabble Comic Strip for May 29, 2020

As of this posting, I think we'll be on a wee local excursion tomorrow...
our 14 year old CR-V Goldie, that my husband drives,  has been having a mechanical problem that
no one can seem to figure out. She has been in and out of the
Car-Vet.  When coming to a stop, her engine revs up and she tries to lunge forward.
My husband has to immediately shift to neutral.  He doesn't drive it every day; however,
when he does drive we need peace of mind he and all around him will be safe.
So it is time to retire Goldie she has been a good car.  Back on Wednesday.

  15. Why does it always seem that cars break down whenever you least expect them to? They also tend to break down when your pocketbook is low.

  16. Mom says she needs those Pooh-isms a lot.

Good luck with the excursion. That car problem sounds terribly frightening.

  25. Pooh is almost as good as Dr. Seuss at giving inspirational quotes. Good wishes on finding just the right vehicle. I would love a bright red car, but I drive too fast to be in something so conspicuous, LOL!
