Happy Tuesday Tale

Hosted by Comedy Plus

This is my happy Tuesday collage.

Photos taken on Monday, May 24th.  I wash my EVOO dispenser before I refill it.
Left photo:  After I filled it,I noticed how pretty it looked with the sun shining thru the glass EVOO bottle and the plastic EVOO bottle.
Right photo:  The month of May was very dry.  Monday we had a 20% chance of rain.   I am happy to report not only did that 20% rain happen it was a real
"gutter washer".  I had to take a photo of it pouring out of the gutter.

I am thrilled to report we had 3/4" of much needed rain.

Here's hoping June will not be so very dry.

  1. we had the opposite... isn't that crazy that the weather is so diffeent although it is one planet? ;O)))

  2. Well this is good news all round I think. You have your much needed rain, and here in Scotland we have our much needed sunshine!
    Cheers, Gail.

  3. I love glass and use a lot of it out in my yard.

Glad you got some rain :)

  4. Your glass bottles look beautiful in the sunlight! We certainly had our share of rain this past weekend.

  5. YAY for rain! Sometimes we get tired of days and days of rain but really we remind ourselves how much the plants NEED it. Makes it easier to take!

    Hugs, Teddy

  6. So happy you got some rain. Weather peeps have been teasing us with rain forecasts but it just seems to dance around us. We are in drought and need rain, currently on restricted water usage. Our rainy season should begin anytime, fingers crossed. Lovely picture of your EVOO bottles... isn't it just the best when we find joy in the little things. I would have probably been thrilled with that kitchen light hitting the bottles, too!

    1. Oops, I see the recent drought monitor has us abnormally dry BUT we still need rain!

  7. Glad you got some rain and hope you will get more this month, we sure do need it here too!

  8. We could sure use some rain here!!!

    The Florida Furkids

  9. on of my favorite sun touched things is a bottle in the sun and with colored bottles and oil it is even better. love that pic. we got almost 2 inches of rain on Sunday, none yesterday and THEY say we will get another gully washer today. we say gully here, because gutters don't work in FL, the only people with them are transplanted people from the North who think they will work. I did say to Bob yesterday, if we had a gutter with a down spout that ran into the pool, it would have filled it to the top.

  10. Very pretty and you had a great day of rain. We won't see rain until late fall or early winter. We're already in drought. Not good.

Thank you for joining the Happy Tuesday Blog Hop.

Have a fabulous Happy Tuesday. Big hugs. ♥

  12. That is pretty with the sun shining through the pretty glass. We could use some rain this way too.

  13. we are supposed to be headed for drought; then again they said cicada were going to invade back in april/may....

they haven't ....yet.....and can stay away for all we care !!!! :) ♥♥☺☺

the bottles are really neat :) ♥♥☺☺

  14. The light shining through the bottles looks pretty. The rain has left us at long last and hopefully stays away for a while.

  15. That is pretty. Glad you got your rain. XO

  16. We had 2" of partly cloudy here the other day.

  17. Dang girl...we have nothing BUT rain!

  18. We had so much rain, we could nearly swim in our garden! But now it is nice and sunny and warm. Finally.

  19. I also love the sparkle of the sun on glass...especially colored glass!

California also has been dry, hopefully we'll get some rain soon too!

  20. We would be very happy to send you all the rain we have had for days on end. Today was the first day without raindrops in forever!!!

Woos - Lightning, Misty, and Timber

  21. I hope you get your rain. Rain can be hard to find deep into the summer.

  22. I LOVE the bottle photos, and the gutter! We sure could use rain here. The river is 6 feet lower now than it should be. We have had cool weather last week but little rain. Today it was over 100f! When it rains here, I think I will go out and stand in it! Thanks for your wonderful photos! And have a marvellously happy week!

  23. Oh, we almost NEVER gets rain from June to October! Yeah, I knows! It never rains in the summer, so everything is always dusty BOL!!! Anyhu, I hopes this month is better for the wet stuffs! You can send some of it here if you wants!
    Ruby ♥

  24. Glad you had that rain which is always too little or too much. Wish they would get it right up there
