Naoise is ~3 years old. She was surrendered to the local animal shelter. It is obvious by her sweet nature she was a beloved and treasured pet...which speaks volumes for her first home.
*SHE (*Tobi human to Dui and Roxy) has a friend who volunteers at the shelter. He told *HER about the sweetest cat in the world who needed a new home.
*She wasn't sure how Dui and Roxy would react to a feline sibling. Surprise surprise you can teach two senior K9s new tricks... They are a dynamic and entertaining trio to HER
Welcome Naoise you have won the devotion of HER, Dui and Roxy.
All 4 of you are lucky to have found each other.

Nature Friday today I'd like to share #3 of the 5 (yes 5) seasons we have in North Carolina. 2022 started with
#1. Winter
#2. Spring
#3. Pollen
#4. Summer
#5. Fall
POLLEN ( aka EYDD, evil yellow dust of the devil) Started early last week. The last photo was taken in the morning on Friday, April 1st.
Thursday March 31 we had 1.1" of rain. It washed of the pollen that fell earlier in the week. Never fear EYDD returned we had a new layer on the cars.
I have to use the leaf blower to blow off the porches several times a day so we don't track the EYDD into the house. EYDD season usually lasts about 3 to 4 weeks. The absolute worst is the pine pollen. We can see it lurking and stalking us just waiting til it is purrfectly ripe and ready to fall.
Saturday April 2 the top of our CR-V which is now has yellow polka dots
How wonderful to hear from Tobi and to learn that Bertie's old pals Dui and Roxy have a new feline sibling. I am most impressed that they have behaved so well towards Naoise, Queen of Dubba.
ReplyDeleteAs as for all that pollen - well I guess it's the price you pay to live in an area full of lovely pines with their beautiful aromas!
Cheers, Gail.
Our nemesis is the pecan tree...tons of seasonal catkins.
ReplyDeleteSweet new family addition. The older dogs must be commended.
that is so amazing... welcome in your furever family little naoise ;o) we had our car under a lime tree... it was more sticky than all duct tape of the world... well that fits to mark LOL
ReplyDeleteOh my - little Naoise is beautiful and I know she's happy to have a new home!! Pollen sure makes things look different doesnt' it.....we don't really have a lot of pollen YET but we're sure once we have some warmer days we'll be seeing and sneezing!
ReplyDeleteHugs, Teddy
What a cutie Naoise is and we're so happy to hear that Dui and Roxy get along with her. That's a lot of pollen and a lot of sneezing.
ReplyDeleteAww, Naoise is absolutely beautiful. Yeah, we're starting to see that darn pollen all 'round here now, too. Turns everything a sickly shade of yellow! Have a fabulous weekend, Cecilia.
ReplyDeleteLove our polka dots, tho they are the blue and white ones. The others (here now) are costing us $$$ as we are buying more and more kleenex! Kerchoo!
ReplyDeleteWe have pollen in the spring at some point too. Thankfully Mom's allergies are gone so it just makes a mess outside, not in her head.

ReplyDeleteCrikey, those last pix nearly set off my asthma remotely!!! Naoise is indeed a bonny lass... YAM xx
G=Guru!
Oh yes, we have a pollen season here too!
ReplyDeleteOh how wonderful on the new kitty and everyone is getting along. That's wonderful.
ReplyDeleteYikes on the pollen. Wow, that would make me sneeze.
Thank you for joining the Feline Friday Blog Hop.

ReplyDeleteratz and best fishes in yur new for everz home 😺❤️
It's nice to hear Roxy and Dui (and their mom) are doing so well that they have welcomed little Naoise to their home. That pollen sure looks like a big mess! We're glad we don't have anything like that around here.
ReplyDeleteWe've got lots of pollen right now too. Naoise is beautiful and so is her name!
ReplyDeletewe are about done with ours now, it started mid FEb and all of March, the pine is the worst with the oak being a close 2nd. It falls off the pines on us while we are standing on the deck, it makes yellow scum that cleans to the sidewall where water meets the tile in the pool. I have sneezing attacks all day and night and that is with take Zyrteck. I just said to Bob I think the worst of it is done. when walking Beau it lines the streets.
ReplyDeleteI am so happy SHE and her pups have a new feline friend... makes my heart sing for the cat and She and the dogs
Hooray for Naoise and her new family, that is totally wonderful! It' Pollen Season here too, yuck-a-roo!
ReplyDeleteGreat that the kitty has a new home with new buddies! Yikes on the pollen- we do not have that here thank goodness! Stay well!
ReplyDeleteI am glad Naoise got a good home. XO
ReplyDeleteWelcome Naoise!
ReplyDeletePollen season is the worst! It was horrible in California...and even here, it has me sneezing all day if I forget my allergy medicine!
THAT is some pollen! We have made it through the worst of pollen and the ding dang Oak catkins. We actually have pollen all year but the pollen on steroids usually hits us in February through April. We were buried in white fluffy somethings the whole month of February.
ReplyDeleteSo happy that Naoise found a wonderful home!
Girl! Wait'll I show you some from here. The oaks are especialy egregious! They make nasty tubleweeds of yellow pollen cakes springs off the newty leafing oaks. NASTY!
ReplyDeleteWe are so happy the kitty has found a family to love.
