Mom and Rocky recently sent me this photo
with this email.
But the company is good!
Rocky likes my new book, Floating Twigs, about a boy and his dog. 😻
😴😴😴😴
Auntie sends lots of soft kitty, sweet kitty purr, purr, purrs to you both.
Lovingly
Auntie HiC
Now that I've had a nap I'd like to tell our friends what
Mom and I are currently reading Floating Twigs by Charles Tabb.
It’s a story about a young boy, Jack, and his 3-legged dog, Bones.
********************
I’m enjoying the book, but preferred the book we read earlier this week,
Where the Crawdads Sing by Delia Owens.
What are our friends reading?
It is so hot in Georgia we are staying inside reading.
We would love love suggestions, any genre. Thanks❣️
❤️ Rocky
we would love such a story about a boy and his pup... it's to hot at night here too... even for reading ;O)))
ReplyDeleteIt was too hot to sleep here last night too! Every time we have a hot spell Ivor says he is getting air conditioning, then it goes back to our usual cooler weather and he forgets all about it.
ReplyDeleteI have to tell you that Gail's book group read that Crawdads book a while ago and she was the only one who didn't absolutely adore it.
ReplyDeleteMeanwhile, no time for books here with YAM-aunty, I am too busy being Nice Nobby. Well mostly..
Hari OM
ReplyDeleteJust to confirm that Nobby is - mostly - being nice! Well done Rocky for keeping mum company! YAM x
It was recommended that I read crawdads and I wasn't impressed at all. I think I am one in a million. Hot!?? You don't know what hot is...113° heat index predicted today
ReplyDeleteHow nice that Rocky and his Mom have reading time together!
ReplyDeleteHugs, Pam
We just love the Crepe Myrtle. It is sooooooooo pretty! I am reading The Nantucket Inn and loving it.
ReplyDeleteWonderful colors of nature, for sure. Thank you, Cecilia (and Bryan, of course) for your very thoughtful words of condolence as we try to get used to just the two of us again. Cleo's mom and I appreciate your kindness and understanding.
ReplyDeleteRocky, you can come sit with me when I'm reading too.
ReplyDeleteIt is always a cat less than a feet away
ReplyDeletethese photos make my heart feel happy. so glad you have a reading buddy.
ReplyDeleteOh no, I hate those sleepless nights, but when you have them having a buddy to share them with you makes it so much better. He's so handsome.
ReplyDeleteThank you for joining the Feline Friday Blog Hop.
Have a purrfect Feline Friday and weekend. Big hug. ♥
Awww...sweet photos of Rocky and Mom.
ReplyDeleteRocky is so sweet to keep his mom company while she reads her book.
ReplyDeleteGlad to know I am not the only one up at two in the morning! Lovely collage on this Friday. Good Morning!

ReplyDeleteRead CRAWDADS when it first came out and loved it (hope tinsel-town doesn't destroy it if made into a film!!) ... now reading Saving Grace by Kirsten Powers. Hard to read tho, as the only time June is really interested in my lap is when it has an open book on it ... tried a Kindle, but am the old "paper, hardcover in my paws" kind of girl.
ReplyDeleteRocky is such a sweet boy. XO
ReplyDeleteThose are wonderful photos and the duck and bunny are so cool. Rocky is always the cool one though, howdy Rock Star Rocky!
ReplyDelete2AM? Yipes! I know what that's like when I had to work overtime until 3AM. So glad I don't have to do that any more! Hope you all catch up on your sleep.
ReplyDeleteSleepless nights are no fun- at least you had Rocky for company! Have a lovely weekend!
ReplyDeleteRocky is so cure and sweet - we bet he and Mom sleep very well when he is around. Our crepe myrtle was just starting to blossom when the very behind schedule shrub trimmers finally arrived and cut them back. Oh well, the other shrubs really needed trimming.
