Do you see the 'real' butterfly, in photo on the left at the blue arrow?
On the right a gold finch at the yellow arrow taking a sip from the ant trap on to of the hummingbird feeder and a hummingbird sipping sugar water at the red arrow. You might need to bigify
My roving photojournalist Janice sent these to me.
August 12, 2017 (August 12th was on Caturday Art day in 2017)
1. I’d like to peek into my K9 friends Rosy, Sunny, Brinley, Kinley's closets, they are all such fashionistas.2, I secretly enjoy a rainy day.3. There’s no use crying over the last spoon of ice Cream (I know we have extra) .4. If I don’t take my camera with me when I take a walk, I am always sorry.
ooh wow... that's a big butterfly..... we love the colors... a little like our fur ;O)
ReplyDeletePretty art. That is a lovely butterfly.
ReplyDeleteGood idea to always take a camera on a walkabout - you never know what you're liable to see! Love the nature photos - we are seeing more butterflies than EVER this year!
ReplyDeleteHugs, Pam
So many times I don't have my camera when I need it! Love the butterflies and I love the sweet song of the goldfinch!
ReplyDeletePretty butterfly. Mia and Frisco, long time - no see.

ReplyDeleteI had to biggify to see the butterfly - fantastic! Love your fillins - and, of course, the pawtrait of the pussies! YAM xx
Those are great nature pictures. We often have gold finches drinking from the ant traps on our hummer feeders too. That is such a cute throwback picture of the cats. We love all your fill-ins, too.
ReplyDeleteFeline Art is always da best! a cute photo, glad they are not afraid of the noise maker.
ReplyDeleteThese are fun and interesting too, photos. You always give us the best of the best to enjoy! By the way, I agree totally about not having a camera when you are out! Neverfails that you will have missed something really wonderful to share!
ReplyDeleteWe always do cute things when Mom can't photograph us!!!
ReplyDeleteThose photos are amazing and so is your art! Those are good answers too.
ReplyDeleteI can make one of your fill ins come true...but you asked for it LOL. Look for a post in the next week or so.
ReplyDeleteLove the pretty butterfly and goldfinch and, always love seeing Angel Madi and her nephew and niece!
We had a glitch with Nature Fridays post today, but it's live now :-)
DeleteWhat a coincidence! My daughter in Connecticut found the same butterfly species today! How cool is that. I know what you mean about going out without a camera: sometimes it has brought me to tears. Thankfully, now with iPhone, I don't have to cry if I forget. Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteIt was nice to see the butterfly, the birdies and the kitties! We have lots of goldfinches too. My Dad used to call them little chips of sunshine.
ReplyDeleteAngel Madi, that is a very nice photo that your Mom photoshopped you into. It looks like she did some other kind of filter/effect/texture on it... very pretty. Cecilia, I love it when you do Fill-Ins! I love a rainy day, too. Mostly on cool Fall days in Missouree.
ReplyDeleteGood to see you Angel Madi ~ love the kitties and your fill in about not taking your camera is so true for me too ~ Great post and photos ~ Xo
ReplyDeleteWishing you good health, laughter and love in your days,

Love your nature shots. Beautiful.
ReplyDeleteLove your fill-ins too. I love it when it rains too, but only if I'm inside and don't have to go anywhere.
Love all the kitties. So precious.
Thank you for joining the Feline Friday Blog Hop.
Have a purrfect Feline Friday and weekend. Big hug, my friend. ♥
Lovely to see Frisco, Mia and their Aunty Madi, all together and so beautifully framed.
