Dearest Auntie HiC
It’s a cold, rainy day on The Hill.
We’re all cozy as bugs in the rug, because Dad built the first fire of the season.
Mom had to wake me because I fell asleep a little too close to the fire.
Do you smell roasting hotdogs?!? Teeheehee!
Lovingly
❤️ Pup
Dearest Pup
OMDs I think roasting handsome hot dogs are more appealing than roasting chestnuts.
You 3 dear sweet furry nephews are living your best lives there in the Georgia Mountains.
No worries, full tummies, living and loving each day!!

Please thank you staff for the excellent submission
Art imitating Nature
This is the entrance to a Harrison Square Shopping Center about 20 miles from us.
Bass Pro Shop is the flagship store
Please tell Pup that Nobby loves being close to a nice warm fire (or radiator) and can't understand why Pup had to be moved.
ReplyDeleteGail says mention of Bass Pro always remembers her of the two Thanksgiving holidays (1988 and 89) she spent with her friend Marse's family, who lived near Springfield, Missouri. She had never heard of Bass Pro (and suspects that 99% of people in the UK still haven't) but soon understood it was a big deal in that part of the USA!
we love the fieplace too... if our dad is able to start it LOL... we LOVE this shop... the big berd would be ours immediately...
ReplyDeleteWe lit our log burner as soon as we got home from our last cruise. It wasn't really cold but felt it after coming from 70+ temperatures. Eric always got too close to the fire and usually had crinkly whiskers through the winter.
ReplyDeleteOne year when we were in Orlando (International Drive?) we discovered a Bass Pro store and had great fun exploring everything.
Love that art imitating nature. We are thankful for a gas fireplace. It doesn't have the smell of wood burning, but the ease of turning it on and off, and the safety of no real burning going on is ideal for us. We have had a fire several times already in the evening.
ReplyDeleteGot potato salad? I'll take my hot dog with mustard please. (Be careful with those fires!!!!)

ReplyDeleteOh yes, I love the scultures! There is something so special about a real fire... and a dog beside it! YAM xx
What a sweet fur family! :-)
ReplyDeleteI love a fire in the fireplace but we don't have a fireplace BUT being delivered today is an outdoor firepit table! You all look so cozy. We miss our Bass Pro in Missouri! That big bird is awesome!
ReplyDeleteI love hotdog, but if given a choice between eating a hotdog or hugging a HOT dog, would go for PUP every time. everyone looks so warm and cozy and the fire is beautiful. hugs and kisses to Pup, Kat and Rocky... LOVE the BIG bird.
ReplyDeletePS the three of you live only 1 hour away from where my son David, his wife and 8 dogs live in Copperhill TN..
DeleteI love the crane wind mobile. I'd love to have it in my garden, but I bet it has a very hefty price tag on it.
ReplyDeleteit was 27 here in Crystal Springs, MS this AM. Brrrrrr rabbit.
Awww, nothing like that first fire of the season. So warm and inviting. Love the video of Pup napping. Love the music too. It was perfect. Thank you to your staff.
ReplyDeleteThank you for joining the Feline Friday Blog Hop.
Have a purrfect Feline Friday and weekend. Big hug, my friend. ♥
Warm and snuggly by the fire place sounds purrfect. You have the most interesting places to shop!!
ReplyDeleteThose three look like they are enjoying the warmth of the fire. We haven't turned on our gas fireplace yet but with the temps we are expecting this weekend we might just crank it up. That bird sculpture is cool and might fit in nicely in our garden.
ReplyDeleteThat warm fire feels so good this time of year. The winged bird is just gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteOh my, Kat, Rocky and Pup and so comfy cozy! Hey, I've been to that Bass Pro Shop several years ago on a kitten transport/handoff to their new Mama.
ReplyDeleteI am STILL smiling about the Hotdog! I'll take that one! Have to give it smoochies, not eat it up. LOVE those garden/lawn sculptures!
ReplyDeleteAwww..everyone looks so comfy. XO
