Dearest Auntie HiC
Like most of the country, it has been bitterly cold here. Fortunately, and thankfully, we didn’t receive snow or ice. Hope all our friends stayed warm and safe. ❤️
I haven’t been on the porch for several days, but I’m still getting plenty of exercise.
Be sure to watch my video til the end for my finale!!
Lovingly you Nephew Rocky
Dearest Rocky OMCs...................you are quite well balanced and agile
Auntie would have fallen and busted her chin wide open(that is what Auntie's Mom always told her would happen when she was messin around).

Nature and Final Fiction Friday
OMCs, OMDs I have the rest of the story about these mysterious
and gorgeous birds
Photo from website at night
This link has videos too and many of the lanterns are animated, these birds are on one of the videos. Click here to visit the link it will tell you all about the festival and see all of the amazing lanterns.
They were part of the Chinese Lantern Festival that is held each year in Cary, NC at the Koka Booth Amphitheater.
The Chinese Lantern Festival, also called Yuan Xiao Festival, holiday celebrated in China and other Asian countries that honours deceased ancestors on the 15th day of the first month (Yuan) of the lunar calendar. The Lantern Festival aims to promote reconciliation, peace, and forgiveness
Gail is impressed by Rocky's careful athleticism. Nobby gets his indoor exercise by grabbing any large stuffed toy and shaking it ferociously, jumping around and tossing it in the air then shaking it some more. It is not relaxing to watch, even if the squeaker is bust!
ReplyDeleteI clicked the link and those displays are beautiful. Rocky is very athletic.
ReplyDeleteWe were sure you were going to take a tumble, Rocky, but you held your own. So many beautiful things to see at the Chinese Lantern Festival!

ReplyDeleteDearest Rocky I love the almost fall almost humbled down I can't believe you caught yourself. You sure are agile and beautiful and sweet and wonderful and we know you didn't mean to swat pup. Haha on that one. So glad your mom is feeling better. And wow on those birds I'm so happy to see that you found the story because it was a little odd trying to figure out what they were out there for they're quite amazing
ReplyDeleteSaving the birds!! Awesome.
ReplyDeleteThis reminds me of a song..."I'll tumble for you" by boy George. Well, maybe not the same meaning tho. 😉
Loved your workout, Rocky. You're most talented and I loved the music. It was purrfect.
