Thank you to our
We thoroughly enjoyed our
HAPPY
trip to Cedar Creek Gallery to see the
I took 90 photos (there were over 200 teapots). I will post my teapot photos on Happy Tuesday over the next ~month.
Good news is many of my photos will have several teapots in them. A red dot indicates the teapot is sold.
This is my #1 favorite a Hummingbird on a teapot

My debit card breathed a sigh of relief.
This was the most expensive teapot we saw. The teapot, cloth under it and the teacup on the bottom shelf are made entirely of beads. It was absolutely exquisite. It was not sold but I had no inclination to buy just to admire.
Wow, that's a lotta teapots!
ReplyDeleteThe teapots are stunning but, I note, labelled as 'non-functional'. A shame, as the needle-felted hummingbird one would appear to have its own built-in tea cosy!
ReplyDeleteIn the back of my head, I can hear my mother asking "but is it a good pourer?"
Cheers!
Gail.
Those are very fancy teapots.
ReplyDeleteWow. Those are pretty amazing! The houses of those teapots certainly don't have cats!
ReplyDeleteLove the hummer teapot and I certainly didn't expect either one to be so pricey!
ReplyDeleteBoth are stunning works of art. The prices make my jaw drop, though!
ReplyDeleteI love the thread pot! it was just cute until I read how it was made. Wow! no wonder it cost that much. Needs to be behind glass doors for sure. wow again. Totally impressed with the second one that all of it is beads, and can see how they came up with the price, there is much more that the pot. BUTT I do NOT like the EYE. if i could afford it, IF, I would not want that eye in my house. Can't wait to see the rest of these. I was thinking REAL teapots, they kind that pour good or bad...
ReplyDeleteThey are beautiful teapots. I am HAPPY you enjoyed your HAPPY trip to see them. Also hope you had some good FOOD. I always wonder about the FOOD :)

ReplyDeleteI'll bet there was lots of goodies to see.
ReplyDeleteI wish I could go to a tea pot show
ReplyDeleteThe prices on these non-functional teapots are crazy, but it's even crazier knowing that someone is going to pay that for them, eventually!
