Poetic Thursday hosted by our pals Teddy and Angel Sammy
All kinds of Thankful to share with you the completed memory quilt made out of my neighbor Jane's, sister's sweaters.
The hand tied knots are in each corner of the squares and all around the border. Due to the stretchy squares, I could not quilt the top, thus the hand tying.
I added a purple button to 'tie' (pun intended) everything together. I am quite fond of accessories on clothes and crafts.
It is 33"x 39"
That's a lovely little poem. But let's think of it as a tall thin shed, not an outhouse!
ReplyDeleteAnd well done on the 'sweater quilt' (a new concept to me).
Cheers, Gail.
