Awww Monday Mews from the Nephews on Memorial Day

We thank our Hostess Sandee at Comedy Plus
Seeing Old Glory waving in the wind is always an Awww Moment

Dearest Auntie HiC
We are especially thankful for all the first responders always.

Someone needs to call Smokey the Bear because we have a forest fire in the area.

Top picture is clear day, bottom shows current conditions. You can barely see the outline of mountain.
Needless to say we have air quality alerts & the peeps have curtailed all hiking activities until conditions improve.

It looks pretty eerie around here.

We’ll keep y’all posted!

Dearest Nephews
Auntie is so sorry about the fires in the beautiful San Juan mountains.  She sends all her sincere appreciation to the brave fire fighters on this Memorial Day..

Saturday, May 25th, they moved to another campsite across the river...
No more smoke or alerts over there.

  1. Dearest Cecilia,
Indeed honoring all those that gave their all for the freedom of this nation and the world!
Too bad that there is such a forest fire and most lilely caused by humans...
Sad they moved to another location because of that.

  2. Certainly good news that they were not In Harm's Way and that they have moved completely away from the fire. Those things travel entirely too fast. Here we are complaining about having practically daily rain and things out there are burning up. Oh so sad.

  3. Hari OM
Salutations to all who serve... and ohmigosh, that smoky sky reminds me of similar things in OZ... I do hope the travellers remain safe... YAM xx

  4. Thank you for serving this wonderful Country. Your nephews are doing a lot of traveling.

  5. Honoring our heroes that made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom.
Good that Kat, Rocky and their Peeps moved to a safer camp site and away from the smoke.
    Good Morning!

  6. I am glad that they were able to move to another campsite away from the smoke.

  7. We're glad they to to move away from the smoke and fires.

  8. Those fires are always so scary. Bless all of our heroes, we'll always honor and remember them.

  9. We're glad to hear they are safe from the fires. Today we honor all who served our country.

  10. We are smelling the smoke from these fires all the way down here in ABQ this morning and are sending lots of POTP that they contain the fire soon!

  13. All the best to Kit and family to be safe from the fires

  14. I heard there's supposed to be lots of wildfires in Western Canada this summer. How can people predict that? Hope the fire near where they are camping is soon extinguished.

  15. My heart grieves for all who lost their lives in service of the US military.

Saying prayers the fire is contained quickly.

Please leave a meow or bark for Angel Madi...her assistant (aka Mom) will respond in a timely fashion. =^..^=
