We call the stone wall
Chipmunk Interstate
They run back and forth on the wall all day
Rainbow Bridge Remembrance Day is an annual event created and hosted
by Deb Barnes of Zee & Zoey's Cat Chronicles. A special day, held every
August 28, to remember and honor the pets loved and lost but never forgotten.
Deb will also hold a Remembrance Blog Hop where you may wish to
include your post.
We love it that the chipmunks have their very own interstate.
ReplyDeletewhat a cool name chipmunk interstate... we hope that place is added in the gps maps too LOL
ReplyDeleteThat must be fun to watch those chipmunks.
ReplyDeleteBetween the pretty hummingbird flag and the Antiques of the Chipmunks, that's a pretty sweet spot. And yes Remembrance Day for all of our angels.
ReplyDeleteWe only have squirrels at our house but when we go to Gramma's we see them. They like more wooded areas around here.

ReplyDeleteOOhhh, Rosy would enjoy that view!!! YAM xx
I haven't seen my yard chippie in a couple of months. The Momma Lion might be the cause of that.
ReplyDeleteChipmunks are so cute. We don't have many in our complex that I have seen, as there aren't many trees. But I see lots around elsewhere. We do have plenty of black and grey squirrels, though!
ReplyDeleteWe see lots of cute chippers hiding and scurrying on the stone walls too!
ReplyDeleteFirst let me say how much I love that wall and all that is in sight in the photo. I have never seen a chipmunk, but would love to watch them. we watch our squirrels on the skyway bridge to the oak tree, much like watch the chipmunks on a highway. thanks for the info on the memorial day. I have one set to go and will change it to the 28th
ReplyDeleteThat would be fun to watch them. Also, that is a most wonderful and shady place to sit and have a glass of wine!
ReplyDeleteBest interstate highway I have seen ~ Ziggy would love to watch them ~ ^_^

ReplyDeleteWe have a chipmunk interstate too but the chippies are in competition with the skinks who ALSO love all the "nooks and crannies" !! Teddy loves to watch the action from the sideline.
