Dear Auntie HiC
Mom says the news has been very sad lately, and so many are feeling overwhelmed.
She stopped on her walk today. She is Thankful for all the peace & comfort Mother Nature provides including a babbling creek.
Take a minute & just breathe❣️
Today is Poetic Thursday hosted by our pals Teddy and Angel Sammy at Two Spoiled Cats
My first thought when I saw these ladies they care not what others think they just wanna have fun
Senior ladies of three,
have no inhibitions.
Their motto is 'let us be we are free'!
What others think matters not!!
We like dressing to the nines.
Pink boas and black mask are our chosen attire
Raise a glass to fun,
Dr. Seuss wisely said:
nature can be the place to be when we need a break from all that daily madness.... and I want to be such a lady once..

ReplyDeleteOh yes to nature as therapy! And I might be one such lady as seen here ... YAM xx
thanks for the 28 seconds and 360 degree view of peace and calming woodlands. I can't remember how long it has been since I last walked in the woods.
ReplyDeleteDr Seuss knew exactly what we needed. What a wonderful video. And it looks warm there compared to here, so that helps me when I look at it again later. Thankfully we got the bare edge of the ice storm.
ReplyDeleteI agree with all of it.
ReplyDeleteYes to your poem, C! And yes to the peace and comfort of Mother Nature!
ReplyDeleteGood Morning!
The sound of that brook is so soothing. Definitely a balm for one's soul right now.
ReplyDeleteI like your poem too. If we live long enough to be "old", we've earned the right to dress as we please, to eat, drink and be merry!
Loved the video. Makes me want to be out there and walking down that road. I don't think I've ever seen that Dr. Seuss quote. I like that.
ReplyDeleteWhat a peaceful video to help calm our minds. We love your poem and the Seuss quote.
ReplyDeleteThe babbling creek and beautiful scenery is lovely and comforting. Love your poem and the Dr Seuss quote!
ReplyDeleteWe love your poem!!!
ReplyDeleteI love the poem too. I couldn't;t think of anything fun or good enough and quit...to enjoy all the others I got to see today!
ReplyDeleteThat is such a desolate road where you walk. Not sure I would feel comfortable walking by myself, though it is a beautiful scene.
ReplyDeleteThat is a lovely video of the beauty of nature and the babbling brook. Love the poem too.
ReplyDeleteI am leaving with a smile again, thank you! The poem is lovely and video and other images. Your header is gorgeous! Sending hugs and thanks for another great and uplifting post :)
ReplyDeleteA good walk can fix what ails you
ReplyDeleteNature definitely soothes the soul...as do cute, funny poems!
ReplyDeletehugs,
Beth
Super poem. We don't have a babbling brook right now - the one along the trail is frozen. But we are so happy when we can walk because it really helps Mom relax and be calmer with all the chaos going on.

Nature, in it's beauty, always calms me and leaves me in awww. And that was a great take on the 3 ladies. And I just noticed your Busacglia quote. So true, so true.
ReplyDeleteGreat job on the poem. XO
ReplyDeleteNature is wonderful for destressing! That was a fun poem for those wonderful ladies! Thanks for joining Angel Brian's Thankful Thursday Blog Hop!
ReplyDeleteWe can all stand a nature break, right?
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed your poem, those ladies are going to have a great time.
