Today we join Two SPOILED CAT

Forest
by Mom
Deep in the woods where the sun 'don't' shine
you'll find treasures to behold with stories untold.
If you know your stuff and don't mind roughin' it,
surprises are bountiful to the bold.
Trees grow tall, they shade the ground.
The earth is carpeted with lush green moss.
Some days rays of sun filter through the trees.
Other days are wet with a chill and a bit of breeze.
Forest critters scurry to and fro grabbing bits of sun.
When the rains come, with glee they all run for cover
under nature's umbrella the itty bitty mushroom tree.
MushieRooms

I'm a little mushroom short and fat
I will grow and grow until you tip me over
Then you see I have stem underneath my hat
Critters that squirm congregate there to avoid getting wet.
