Tuesday Tour

On Sunday Mom came upstairs to tend the laundry...this is what she saw...
First she grabbed the camera then she asked me boo-cat (sometimes she calls me that) what are you doing up here...why you might ask.
Well as you might recall many many of my recent posts have been from the love seat,
or the bed with the lavender and green quilt.
I told her a Diva likes variety because it is the spice that makes life fun.

She debated on a photo shot in this location ...then she threw caution to the wind and
started clicking.  So we are gonna show you the loo of a boo-cat
1. As you know I have subqs daily so I pp a lot  (sorry if that is TMI), I always have 3 containers of litter handy 'cause mom has to add to the boxes between weekly changes.

2. This is a very special antique (anything over 25 years old) she purchased from Harriet Carter way back when this area was Milky-Way's (first family cat) Man Cave. Milky-Way used it for 14 1/2 years, I've been using it for 16 that = 30 1/2 years.  As you can see, it has two funky handles that are purrfect for fitting plastic grocery bags* over the handles to keep the bags in place.
My K9 friends have poop bags, I have a poop bag trash can. *we believe in recyle, reuse re-poopose

3 and 4. I'm a diva I have 2 litter boxes.

5.  As Milky-Way aged he some times over shot the box edges so Mom put a plastic liner under the boxes and a tad up the wall.  I'm here to tell you THIS DIVA does not DO THAT AT ALL!!!

6.  This is a huge bath towel under my boxes BECAUSE quite frankly I scatter litter all over creation.

  1. We reuse our grocery bags as poo bags here, MOL!

  2. We have no pets at home, so no tension for these all:)

  3. Every kitty has her own habits, and set ups!

  4. that is interesting... I think me and the Nelly should get litter boxes too... we both dislike rain and we went on pee-strike last night... we are two so we need 4 boxes... or 6... that would look good in my crib... litter-ally :O))

  5. Your loo is very neat, Madi, and I like the fact that you have 2 litter boxes for your diva use!

  6. Hari OM
You are very well set up over there in the Manor, Miss Madi!!! Hugs and whiskeries, YAM-aunty xxx

  8. That sure is a great arrangement Madi. You Mom has it all arranged quite nicely. Good Mom. You all have a great day.

  9. Madi, so many lesser bloggers might elect to leave out a certain very important area when giving a tour of their house, but thank goodness we can rely on you to provide ALL the key details in your descriptions.
    Toodle pip!

  10. Jake said to tell you his litter box is 100 x 100 and covered in green grass, WEEDS and leaves and concrete. HE HE HE and the word litter-ally from Mark has me howling. your set up looks purrfect to me, for you the Diva dn the Diva's mom to... plus you did not mention the Sunbeams in your rest room... love the shot of you on the landing

  11. Looks like your mom has it all covered!
    Hazel & Mabel

  12. Madi, you', um...your human has quite a set up for your purr-sonal business! I've been using two pieces of newspaper for the scooping job, then roll it up carefully and put it in the trash, sometimes in the plastic sleeve that we get our newspapers in. But I like your set up, Madi!

  13. It is life and every body has to go

  14. I put a piece of plastic hall runner under the cat litter boxes. Jenna, the 16-year-old, has been known to occasionally overshoot. We recycle plastic bags for poop, too. Unfortunately, we never seem to have enough of them :(

  15. madi...yur art gal o ree iz WAAAAAAY nicer N mine......minez a box...ina korner...end oh storee...oh....and me truztee scooop ;) ☺☺♥♥

  16. Thank you for the behind the scenes footage of your bathroom Madi. I have pee pads under ours because sometimes some kitties miss the box. XO

  17. Mom is a saver too - she reuses all those plastic bags from the stores for poop patrol:)

We like to vary our resting places too. Right now we all want to be as close as we can to the cool air vents.
