Monday Madi Moments

Until 2 years ago, I used to spend many hours a daydreaming under this ship on the softest blue upholster couch. Then the peeps replaced it with this leather couch...which is soft...but for some reason mom gets testy I rarely sit here.

Mom recently caught me sitting on the dresser in our guest room.  This is another rare occurrence
but quite frankly it is slippery and hard.  I have to be very
precise when I jump up here.  On this day, I went up to say
meow to the little green cat statute.
Mom doesn't mind get testy when I get up here.
The furniture has years and years and years (it belonged to my Dad's peeps) of polish on it which is probably why it is slippery.

Prayers and hugs to all who have been affected by this disease.

Happy Monday to you all,
PS Mom and I apologize for the word verification being on.  We were forced to switch to the new blogger interface in February.
We thought all out settings would be the same on the new interface but evidently they were not.  We just realized yesterday that the word verification was on.

  1. I'm allowed on efurrything. Mommy totally gave up on rules after falling in luf wif me. She says she just can't seem to tell me "NO". I haf to tell ya, it's workin out well fur me. MOL! We just remember Cancer Day. Gotta run back to our blog! Bye fur now, headbumps and nosetaps.

  2. We are allowed on the leather sofa's if we are being good. Mummy has put throws on them so that they are cosy for us to snooze on. We are only allowed in the living room when the hoomans are here. Mainly because I might eat anything that is left in there hee he :)xx

  3. That leathery sofa looks so soft. Our mama lets us jump up most everywhere but like Jasmine's mom she has throws on everything so she can wash all of our furs off them when they get too furry.

I didn't notice word verification yesterday or before, it must have appeared suddenly. Good old Blogger likes to keep us on our toes.

    Purrs & Hugs,
Cindi Lou and The Kitty Krew
    and J

  4. You could always gets some of them little claw covers so you could gets on da leather sofa...and I promise I wouldn't augh at you when you wears 'em. Howevers, what really bothers is da fact dat your mom actually thinks it's her house....bwhahahahahahahaha...OH dat IS funny.

  5. That couch looks like it would be fun to slip and slide on BOL!
    Have a great Monday Madi!
    Lovies, Miss Mindy

  6. LOVE the dresser! BEAUTIFUL! Of course not as beautiful as you Queen Madi.... I have never had to do the word verification on your blog....ever....strange that is said it was on....

  7. Madi,

Mom STILL won't let us on da furniture .da nerve!

    Woofs and Licks,
    Maggie Mae and Max

PeeS We is hopefully back again, we sure has missed you

  8. Humans have no consideration Madi. Why would they want a beautiful expensive clean leather couch when they could have kept the old knackered material one, covered in cat hair?! Makes no sense at all. Deccy x

  9. We think that leather couch is the purrfect place for you to sit and take a nap even if Mom gets a little testy. Our Mom gets testy over many things and we just ignore her which brings on the norty words.
I have never had a problem with the word verification. So it takes a few more seconds. Take care and have a great week.

  10. Enjoy your day, dear Madi. You look lovely, as always!

  11. That couch looks like a lovely place for a snooze. I think you should have a sit-in until your mom relents!

  12. Got to watch those slippery surfaces Madi! One time my old cat Molly took a running jump from the bed onto a long low dresser that had just been polished, she slid down the entire length of it and right off the end. I never laughed so hard in my life....but I was laughing with her not at her :-)

  13. Madi, you have so many "perches" with so many textures!
You must be a very skilled jumper to get up on a slippery dresser without sliding off!
I can understand Mom being a little nervous about you on the leather couch with claws!
    Chin scratches to you
    Hugs to Mom

  14. Woof! Woof! Happy Monday!!! I spend some time at a friends house who got 2 cats. Oh My they go everywhere ... I mean everywhere. That's a nice couch ... ask you mom to put a cover just for you :-) Lots of Golden Woofs, Sugar

  15. Thank you for explaining why I have been running into all the word verifications! I wondered about that!

Madi--You are a walking work of art. You should absolutely display yourself wherever you wish!

  16. Funny how we have to keep all these "approved" spots straight in our heads and the humans can just go, sit, jump, step and sleep where they please!
    ; ) Katie

  17. Hi Madi! You have excellent taste in where you sit!

  18. I sit on the back of our chairs and sofa and they have goe all squishy and comfy now.. You have swome good places to sit.. HUgs GJ xx

  19. We have leather in our basement and we know for sure that if we were even allowed down there we would never be allowed to put our footsies on that leather. Maybe Mom could put a few of those beautiful afghans she crochets on the sofa to make it soft and cushy for you:)

Woos - Phantom, Thunder, Ciara, and Lightning

  20. Why do Moms get testy about things? Don't they know that all things belong to US?

    The Florida Furkids

  21. Madi, I'd be happy to come over and give your Mom something to fuss about. I LOVE clawing leather!
Take some of the heat off of you...
Yr Western Diva Pal, The Baby

  22. We just helped a friend with the word verification. you have to switch BACK to OLD blogger and change it and then switch over. We heard that a lot of people's stuff got mixed up with new (stupid) blogger.

  23. Hey...we didn't have to do word verification there. congrats!

  24. OHhhhhhhhh, LOL...if you're anything like Tahoe, she jumps up on the vanity in the guest bedroom at a dead run and nearly slides off to the other side!!! It's antique, so as you pointed out Madi, it's slick and hard. Tahoe learned how to boot scoot on the vanity.

  25. Madi
    Don't you look so pretty!

  26. Oh that leathery couch looks super comfy. I think I might like to come over and dig a hole in it! Do you think your mom would mind?

    Your pal, Pip

  27. You have to be careful of slippery surfaces Madi. The other day I jumped up on the writing bureau, skidded and crashed into the window. Flynn.
We have never seen word verification on your blog so blogger must have been playing games with you.

  28. Madi, we like how you keep your mom guessing by sitting in places that you don't normally sit. That's us cats way to drive the humans crazy!

  29. Hope you had a happy day sitting where ever you wanted Madi.

  30. Always keep 'em guessing Madi! Many good places to snooze/explore!

Please leave a meow or bark for Madi...her assistant (aka Mom) will respond in a timely fashion. =^..^=
Life is short, spend it with those who make you laugh
