Wild Wednesday

No tricks, no editing....for once mom's fingers were quick..
I'm not walking on  dresser as it appears...I'm in mid jump

Flash back of my perch you saw in yesterday's post.
It is not a new is in fact almost an antique!!
This is one wild can see on the pic the date is 12/22/96.
The perch originally belonged to Milky-Way the first family cat.
This photo is way before we had the kitchen remodeled and the wood work painted.
After the remodel mom moved my perch upstairs!!

Milky-way was about 11 y.o. in this photo and Cali (my human sis's Cornish Rex) was about
5 y.o.  MW adored Cali and she adored him.
This was a well made perch it is holding about 22 lbs of fine feline-nese.

Mom absolutely loves loves loves this photo!!

Me yesterday in case you missed it

  1. You have some Olympic level jumping skills! I think downhill snow skiing is next!

    Abby Lab

  2. oooh another great jump-event... your fabulous leaps are legend in blogville! I love the photo's a perfect eyecatcher and a good teaser for a who-is-who challenge ;o)

  3. I love you walking down that dresser. And your new spot is brilliant!

    Mara from Norway

  4. Hari OM
you have skillz, Madi. Antique perches are also very desirable - especially parked in sunpuddles!!! Hugs and wags, YAM-aunty xxx

  5. Great catch Mom getting Madi in the jump. We think that perch is terrific and that looks like a good place for it. You all have a great day.

  6. That's a great action shot. Hard to get, we know.

  7. Your Mom caught a great dismount from the dresser. I can see why she loves the picture of Cali and MW!

  8. you are leaping down more than have your length, if I did more than half mine it would kill me.. you are really good at leaping and jumping and perching on your antique perch

  9. You do look like you are walking down the side. Good capture Mom.
    Hope the rain has stopped.
We are suppose to get it tonight.

  10. Wow - a mid-jump photo of you! Hope it was a soft landing! Love the flashback photos with that STURDY perch. Nothing like a nice perch. My Dad put mine in a garage window because I love hanging out in there for some reason only known to ME (Mom and Dad think maybe I spent my first 11 months pre-shelter/adoption by them living in a garage - I love COOL temps and concrete floors!). I sit in my perch until the sun shines on me then I move to the cold floor. Yes I'm a little strange but it's not my fault! YOU however look content to have your sun puddle perch!

    Hugs, Teddy

  11. Isn't it great when the camera cooperates and gets you in action, Madi! It's not easy with these point and shoot cameras!

  12. Madi, nice action shot! Love the two-headed kitty, and yes, that bed had to be sturdy to hold two cats, and now you, Madi!

  13. Maybe Mom should get a kitty cat perch for every window!

It was nice to see your kitty cousins.

  14. Two gorgeous kitties. How we love those eyes!

    Woos - Misty and Lightning
