I
WANT....A NEW HOME!!
WHY?
Last Friday morning Mom got grabby out of the blue. You see I had
a hair ball, duh I'm a cat, not on the carpet. However, I did sashay through it. She didn't want it on the new carpet so she grabbed me like a sack of potatoes, stuck my paws under the
F A U C E T!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!What in the world was she thinking I don't do water. Then she hollered for dad to come help her trim my nails. Geez I thought spa days were supposed to be relaxing.
I repeat:
WANTED....ONE NEW HOME!!
Geez, first the hairball and then that nail trim! What was your human thinking?!
ReplyDeleteMadi, I hear ya.... the mama grabbed me too, just as I tried to turn into a recycled food fountain....she tried to bring me outside... butt I was faster and instead to decorate just the carpet I decorated everything, including her ;o) Thanks for a fabulous spring break pawty, blogville is THE place, that's for sure...
ReplyDeleteHari OM
ReplyDeleteOh yes, the big spring break was just tremendous!!! cirkey though, all that relaxing and then the non-spa-ing? Just not own Madi. How long can you keep up the back treatment??? Hugs and whiskeries, YAM-aunty xxx
Raz had a blast at the Spring Break!! Do you need him to come rescue you from the non-spa?
ReplyDeleteHugs,
your guy Raz and The Florida Furkids
Madi, that event yesterday was really something. Very well done and we know everyone had such a good time. You all have a good day.
ReplyDeleteoh my, call the animal rights people, claw trimming and bathing in water? how mean.. I love your perch in the window and now I want to know how it is anchored safely there, does the window pull down on it? enquiring minds want to know. it is perfect for sun bathing or watching squirrel/bird TV
ReplyDeleteYou sure have a great dangle going on from your perch Madi. We can't believe your mom man handled you like that and forced your paws into the water. That definitely calls for demerits.
ReplyDeleteOMD - this is not right that the peeps are ganging up on you, Madi - and really for no good reason! Thank goodness for your perch to relax you after all of the drama!
ReplyDeleteCome here away from that mad woman
ReplyDeleteLily & Edward
Yipes!
ReplyDeleteOH my,,, I can just almost see that tail twitching and the murderificus mutterings going on in that kitty brain... HAAAAA, I don't get to see very much tail twitching at my house since, both my kitties have no tail. well actually Silly Dilly has a couple inches worth, that can go round and round at times. thanx
ReplyDeleteOy vey, Madi! How is any self-respecting cat supposed to respond to that kind of treatment? Is the new perch a way for the humans to say they are sorry for that grabby/water incident?
ReplyDeleteDang, a foot wash isn't fun any time pretty Madi!
ReplyDelete"Hangover." Ha roo roo roo!!!
ReplyDeleteY/s,
Mags
Have you reported your mom for cruelty? Washing your paw over a simple hairball?? We agree with your shunning. They have to learn the hard way. Mom gave us an ENTIRE bath yesterday and we are pretty miffed too. ☺
ReplyDeleteUh oh. Why do I get the feeling your Mom moved your perch because you've been using the table to look outside (I remember this from a couple past posts) and she prefers you not be on the kitchen table? Humans. Don't they know everything belongs to us ... even new carpets? I hope you "fixed" that new carpet, Madi! I love the butt shot ... your tail is one-of-a-kind gorgeous! ~Bear Cat
ReplyDeleteOMD! Madi, you can come live with us, and you will NEVER be treated so unfelinemanely.
ReplyDeleteOh my!!!! But.....you don't need a new home, your Mama loves you dearly! (she just has a strange way of showing it MOL!!) Love, Cody catchatwithcarenandcody
ReplyDeleteWhat??? wash and a nail trim?????
ReplyDeletehugs
Mr bailey, Hazel & Mabel
At first we thought you were just balancing on a cushion. Took a minute to see that your perch had a support! We thought Mom had cracked up!
ReplyDeletemadi...hangover huh.....uz two, two manee beerz at de spring brake grill we iz thinkin !! ☺☺♥♥ tho it waz de BEST brake ever ☺☺♥♥
ReplyDeleteWe call that hangover a dangle - you do it very well, Madi. Misty knows all about getting her feet washed, and it does not make her the least bit happy. We don't know much about hairballs, but we know we leave lots of our hair on the floor - maybe we need to make it into a ball? BOL.
ReplyDeleteWoos - Lightning and Misty
Ha - looks like we were both visiting at the same time:)
ReplyDeleteShe cut your nails???? And you let her???? We hope you got some sardines for suffering!
ReplyDeleteYour Pals,
Murphy & Stanley
You can come live with us :) XO
ReplyDeleteThat's a great spot for your perch, Madi. Too bad about having your paws washed. What was your mom thinking?? You could have cleaned them yourself.
ReplyDeleteOMD...We can't believe your Mama washed your pawsies, how RUDE!!
ReplyDeleteSmileys!

ReplyDeleteKisses,
Ruby ♥
I DO like your hangover on your newly placed hangout! Ick to hairballs but you were good to not hork it up ON the carpet and sashaying through it was certainly a goof. That is one good display of the back of disrespect. I am sure you have forgiven your Mom by now???
ReplyDeleteOh Madi, you do look mad in that last pic. I hope treats were given and plenty of them to make up for wet paws and a claw nail shortening.
ReplyDeleteI'm sure your mom has made it all up to you. :) I trim Fox's nails and he gets an occasional bath in the kitchen sink with a towel under him. :)
ReplyDeleteI will be asking hubby to make a window seat for Fox. :)
hugs,
Marie
