Contrary to popular opinion, I, Madi, do not nap 24 hours a day. I am very involved in helping Mom and Dad (remember I helped him with the recycling last week). Today I'm helping Mom with her mending. The first thing we do is select thread for the project....I'm quite partial to gray, as you can see it matches me purrfectly.
I make sure Mom has the proper tools for the job
We discuss the exact method by which I think she can best accomplish the mending.
Then I let her 'try' to do this without my constant snoopervision.
Notice my nonchalant gaze out the window.
She normally does a pretty good job alone but I know she appreciates my help.
NOTE FROM MOM: Madi really does feel it is her duty to check in on everything we do. Curiousity really does keep her young.
Madi, something tells me that you want to unwind that spool of thread. And if you haven't thought of it, you must try at least one - two-leggers just love it. :)
ReplyDeleteMadi, you're such a helpful kitty! And with all that hard work, I'm sure that long recovery naps are necessary.
ReplyDeleteHi, Madi!
ReplyDeleteSure it is important to snoopervise them!
I like to do that with my mom... but then I get bored and go away for naps... but always keeping an eye on her!
Have a great monday!
Kisses and hugs
Lorenza
Bravo Madi! Honestly, you not only help but make it so much fun!
ReplyDeleteHave a great week!

Hi Madi & Mom,
ReplyDeleteMadi, you are the best snooperviser we have ever seen. Your attention to detail (until nap time at least) is amazing. Our moms and dads would be totally lost without our help.
Have a wonderful week.
Hugs & Purrs,
J and Cindi Lou
I don't knows how they could manage doing anything without you. Do you make a to do list furs them everyday? Come to think of it, dat ain't a bad idea
ReplyDeleteGood to know your mom can "mend" things...I has some dresses dat be to loooooong fur my short legs. Just one of them pitfalls of being a doxie.

Madi, Your such a sweet helper :) I wish I had a helper like you.
ReplyDeleteIts good you have the Diva.
ReplyDeleteYou might not be able to function without her snoopertise(expertise). lol
Madi, you are such a big help to your mom! Funny, our mom doesn't really like our help when we try to help her with the sewing machine or painting.
ReplyDeleteMadi,
ReplyDeleteI missed you! You sure are a wunderful help to your mom.:)
WOofs and Licks,
Maggie MAe
Hi Madi, we can see you are invaluable asset to your mom.
ReplyDeleteOur late cat was particularly fond of knitting!
She liked to make sure the wool was nice and loose from the ball.
Do you do any knitting?

Hi Madi girl! You sure have grrreat taste... that grey is a lovely color. You are such a very helpful kitty for helping your mom out and snoopervising to make sure that everything is in order.
ReplyDeleteThat's very good that you don't micro-manage your mom. It really boosts humans self-esteem when they *think* they've finished a project on their own.
ReplyDeleteWiggles & Wags,
Mayzie
Ah......Can I send that ol' ripped quilt to your Mom to mend? My Mom STILL hasn't fixed it!!!!!
ReplyDeleteHi Madi, the fact that Mom was working right near a nice sunny spot and a window must have helped your "snoopervision"! tee hee hee
ReplyDeleteSun bathe, keep an eye on Mom and an eye on what's happening outside all in one spot! What a lucky girl!

You are such a fabulous helper, Madi! We're sure you like to keep your beans on their toes and make sure everything is done with the utmost precision!
ReplyDeleteMadi, darlin' girl, you are such an excellent snoopervisor!!!!!
ReplyDeleteWe are busy snoopervising boxes here.......they keep piling stuff in the boxes and chasing us out....not fair at all!!!!!!!
We are both a bit concerned cuz our home is full of clutter and chaos right now, but mama assures us everything will be ok and she'll take care of us.
We love y'all bunches.
Hi there Madi, what a good job you are doing snooopervising the mending. We know it will turn out much better with your help. You are a good kitty to do that.
ReplyDeleteTake care and have a fun week.
Madi, you are a very good helper! Can you thread a needle? My mom could not thread a needle if her life depended on it!
ReplyDeleteYour pal, Pip
LOL...Mom, I understand about the snoopervising!
ReplyDeleteOh yes, that grey color is the best!!!! Love that you snoopervise, Madi!! Mable likes to sleep through a lot of lessons around here!
ReplyDeleteThat's what I love about cats...they are so connected to their people's activities...
ReplyDeleteMadi, Mom is so lucky to have your help!
