Saturday: Cat's Bill of Rights #11

I have the right to curse

at squirrels and other critters
that may dare to pass by my windows."

Especially the beady eyed ones!!!
Run, run as quick as you can before I have to come out
there and show you just who's deck this is.
Bill of Rights as stated in Chicken Soup for the Soul: Lovin' our Cat.
Signed,
Madi

  2. Madi, you certainly told that squirrel who is in command of the porch. But be careful, it looks like he has laser eyes too!

Ooops! I hope that isn't the squirrel I sent over to deliver a message to you. Nah, wrong kind of squirrel. If you see one with a really big bushy tail he is alright, he just wants to talk.

  5. What about the right to curse at a perfectly innocent Shar Pei? I can't tell you the things that Simone called me for a while there. No more, though. Now she just curses at Franklin, who has done way more to earn that invective than I ever even considered.

    lotsa licks, Lola

  8. That's right, Madi, stand your ground against those squirrels!
Our squirrels used to run me ragged trying to keep them off the bird feeders!
I think they needed a sign: food for the birds NOT for squirrels!

  14. Oh, you should HEAR the words that my kitteh sister Abby says when squirrels and rabbits have the nerve to come into our yard. Well, I would tell you but they kinda make me blush. Even Cap'n Ripley doesn't have THAT kind of vocabulary!

  16. We chitter and swear at the squirrels too. We chase them up the trees, but they are sneaky and go out on little thin branches that would break if we followed them.
