Attention all kitties and puppies ...I just discovered something new and amazing and I want to share it with you it is called
TAKEOUT FOOD
This term has me slightly confused because you actually bring it home. Here at the Diva residence the only food I've ever smelled is
Mom's cooking. She and Dad go OUT to EAT several times a week
but they have never brought anything back with them. Friday afternoon Mom said she was going to get take out at Neomonde, their favorite Mediterranean Cafe.
I didn't have a clue what was about to happen....
Oh happy days, never in any of my 9 cat years have I ever smelled such lovely aromas come out of brown bags. I asked Mom why she had never brought take out food home in brown bags before.
She is still trying to think of a satisfactory answer.
Mom here: I wish you all could have seen Madi's little pink nose sniffing. It was absolutely adorable, she was using her very best table manners but every so often she would ever so slightly inch towards a container to get a better sniff. If you are ever in Raleigh, NC and you like Mediterranean food, I highly recommend Neomonde. We have been eating there for more years than I care to remember. It is ALWAYS good. Oh we can just imagine Madi's nose working overtime with all those new and delicious smells in the house. You are making me hungry. We love good Mediterranean food, wish there was a good restaurant here.

Madi, it was so generous of you to sniff that food to make sure it wasn't poisened before your humans consumed it. Did you get any shwarma or chicken or ka-bob??

that neomonde place sounds really tasty! me and asa and mama looked at the menu and just about passed out with the delights! we'd loooove to try it. heehee. we have a good mediterranean place near our house called al amir, but they do not have takeout. you have to be all fancy pants and go sit down, and me 'n asa can't go. boohoo!!!

ReplyDeleteMadi, please tell me that your mom brings something home for you when she does go out to eat. Otherwise... it's like... kitty abuse. Gracie always does the once over smell when we come home from eating out. Then its 'what did you bring home in that doggy bag?'
