Today we are participating in Mystery Friday.
We thank Ann from Zoolatry for being the hostess for this fun
event.  The rules state that we can use an older post or create a new one.  This post was originally posted on

The title was

My human sis and her hubby are coming this weekend...Mom was in their room changing linens and tidying up last night. I love changing linens (I bet all my other kitty friends do too). I like to play on the floor in the old linens. Anyway, last night Mom squeals...(she does that a lot it really gets on my kitty nerves) SA Madi I need you we have a mystery. I come to attention put on my SA face, shake my fur (I've been under the sheets). I need to look professional. I slink on over to where Mom is...we do indeed have a mystery. Mom's foot had brushed against something under the bed. SA Madi says step back Mom let me exam the evidence. It is black, there are two of them and very suspicious. Mind you I'm not the bravest cookie in the jar, but I can run fast if they move. I get closer give it a sniff and say Mom you are so silly it is just a pair of sister's footies. We both lol. Mom says Madi I bet sis lost these last time she was here know she sleeps in footies. We'll have to tell her our funny story this weekend. Sis is also mom to my buddy Harley-cat so she'll just lol too.

  1. We don't blame the Mom cuz footies can be very ferocious sumtimes. Best to always give them a good bunny-kickin and mebbe a bitey or two! We nefur knew you were a SA! We luf a woman of mystery.

  2. We never knew you were a SA Madi. Do you get to do all kinds of secret assignments? Never mind, guess you can't tell us since they would be secrets. Those footies look pretty dangerous to us, be careful.

  3. Hahahaha...them was just a pair of socks! At least there was a matching pair...unlike da dryer dat always steals one and then you not has a pair no mores.

  4. Very good work, Madi. Now...can you come and ID da dust bunnies under da bed at my house? Dey been here so long me tinks dey need names!

  5. If you need me to come over and sniff out those socks, just let me know! My mom squeals a lot, too, and it drives me bats! Have a fun visit with your human sissy!

    Your pal, Pip

  6. Sleeps in footies, huh?
Poor Sis has no secrets! :)

  7. Dear Special Agent Madi: did sis get her footies back on the next visit?! LOL
Maybe Mom thought they were dark mice!
A perfect thing for a feline agent to catch!
Chin scratches to you the brave kitty
Hugs to Mom for this fun "flash back"!

  8. That's funny!

Madi, my kitties help change the sheets....hahaha...a lot of help (NOT)!

  9. Hehe that sure was funny Madi! I like to be a detective sometime too. Maybe you could give me some pointers so I can get better at it?
    Lovies, Miss Mindy

  13. We must be psychic twins. Jack has a mystery on his blog tomorrow!!

  14. SA Madi you are extremely brave...there could have been something very sinister lurking under the bed so we are impressed that you dove right in to investigate!!!! Well done clever girl :-)

  15. ha ha you could be an investigator of the highest order!... we find all sorts of things under our bed too - most of it is what we dragged there!
Delighted your Mum has a Daphne - she will love it, we are sure... which one does she have?
Love Helen, Darcy and Bingley xxx

  16. What a timely mystery story with yor sis comingt his weekend. Have a great weekend Madi and Mom...

    pawhugs, Max

  17. Your mum is very lucky to have her own personal SA to solve mysteries for her.

  18. We're glad that the mystery was solved and it was only some socks! Though we do think if it was a mousie or something like that, it would have been REALLY interesting!!

  19. Whew, that could have been quite the scary mystery - so glad you and Mom were able to solve the mystery. You could be a very successful investigative kitty, Madi.

Woos - Phantom, Thunder, Ciara, and Lightning

  20. Good thing your mom had you around, Madi! No telling what those socks would have done to her! BOL!

  21. Wow Madi you are really somethin! I mean SA????? Wow!

    woos, Tessa

  22. Well there you are miss Madi! I was having some trouble finding you for a while, blogger wouldn't let me come to visit... errrr...
This was indeed a mystery, but you solved it - way to go Madi!

  23. We just wanted to give you a heads up and hope that you will put in the good word for us. We have nominated our donkey, Joe to be Mayzie's date for that dance. They said that species will do and Joe is one heck of a dancer. Just think what a hit Mayzie would be with a long earred date. So if you could put in the good word for us, we would be most grateful. Thanks.

Please leave a meow or bark for Angel Madi...her assistant (aka Mom) will respond in a timely fashion. =^..^=
