TASTY TUESDAY TALE

Today we are joining Sugar the Golden's
Tasty Tuesday and including our Tuesday Tale with it.

My breakfast is served PROMPTLY at 6:15 am 7 days a week
w/o fail....and I am an eager eater.
Exhibit 1
Normally, by the time Mom has the coffee made I have licked my plate clean.  I'm extremely perplexed as to why my plate still has food in it. Mom admitted she made a major faux pas but she didn't think I'd notice.

I DID

I licked all the juice but could not figure out how to eat the chunks.
Exhibit 2
She bought the wrong kind of Fancy Feast. Why? I don't know I've eaten the same kind of Fancy Feast for nearly 10 yrs.
Being the good sport that am, and an eager eater,
I managed to finally finish it but...
Exhibit 3
it took considerable effort and time.  Mom came back into the kitchen about an hour later to find my plate some distance from   from my mats.  She thinks I must have been licking and chomping on those chunks so hard that I pushed my plate all the way here,
no Diva should have to work this hard.
Exhibit 4
 She bought Fancy Feast Sliced
Exhibit 5

Everyone knows  a Diva-Cat only eat Classic Fancy Feast
I have the best Mom!! She went back to the store to buy a 12 pack of what I like...
Exhibit 6

Never fear, the Fancy Feast Sliced (minus one can of Turkey Feast) will be delivered to Second Chance Animal Shelter along with some blankets for the cages to keep the kitties and puppies warm.
I gave the blanket Mom crocheted a Madi seal of approval
just before she finished it.
 Exhibit 7

The three blankies Mom will take to Second Chance Animal
Adoption along with the Fancy Feast.
Exhibit 8

Fuzzy Tales Mom made a very wonderful New Year's Resolution.
To knit blankets and take food to her local animal shelter at least one time a month.  Mom loved this idea and will be doing the same thing.  She had two very nice fleece blankies and she crocheted the one on top.

  2. Oh Madi you are adorable!!! I can just picture you pushing your bowl all around the kitchen working your hardest to eat the big chunks of Fancy Feast. I think your mum is pretty great too to donate the sliced tins to the animal shelter and go back out to buy you the kind of food you like :-)

Your crocheted blanket looks great! I knit cat blankets but they are very ordinary...just plain rows in one colour, but I don't think the cats mind :-)

  3. **GASP** her bought da wrong Fancy Feast?! Anyone could tell you are a 'Classic' kind of diva! Well, thank dogness/catness her made it right.

And how kind of her to take the unused foods to da shelter....my momma would prolly have made us choke it down. Then agains, we don't get picky about ANY foodables.

    PeeS.....love that blankie her crocheted.

  6. Sounds just like something the Momster would do too, but we don't eat Fancy Feast:) Your Mom must have felt very badly about what she did to rush right out and get you the right stuff.

  7. Beautiful blankets.... And I'm glad your mom is getting you the right food. I'd hate to have to picture you working so hard just to eat.

    Have a great day.

  9. I love your Mom AND you! Such a wonderful post and those blankets will mean so much to some lost soul. Thanks SO much for all your support and love to this little (temporarily) lost soul.

  10. Totally understand Madi! Kramer feels exactly the same way about his Fancy Feast but unfortunately if it is the wrong kind, he just leaves the chunks and slurps up the juice. Maybe they just should make juice cans!

  11. Wow! You sure did work HARD on eating your breakfast, Madi. I was exhausted just thinking abouts it. I'm glad your mom made up for it by getting you the kind you like.

And I'm sending big sloppy brindle kisses to you AND your mom for giving foodables and blankies to those shelter pets. They're sure gonna be Most Happy with their full bellehs and their comfy accommodations.

  12. Glad to hear that the Mom is putting those needles to good use. What a great thing to do to knit for the kitties and puppies in the shelters. I can't think of anything nicer. We need to get our Mom started on the knit detail. We just think that is super.
We will go visit our Friend Sugar too.
We don't like the Fancy Feast slices either. Our Mom makes that mistake every now and then. You just can't get good help these days. Have a terrific Tues.

  13. This is wonderful! Well, not the part about your mom buying sliced FF. I too only eat classic, but I am impressed that you made such an effort to eat those chunks, Madi. I just slurp the broth and leave the chunks. Your mom is so kind to make that blanket and take that with the food to the shelter. My mama crochets too but not as nicely as yours.

  14. Madi, your Mom REDEEMED herself! We think she deserves some anti-demerits for this one.
Our Mommy is following Fuzzy Tale's Mom's example and is purchasing stuff for homeless kitties once a month for a donation at the end of the year.

  17. What a nice thing to do for the shelter kitties. I'm sure they don't care what kind of fancy feast they get.

  21. The wrong food? How could she! We have very small chunks in gravy but sometimes it tastes different. If I don't want it, I eat it with my paw and fling it all over the fridge. Flynn

  22. We eat the classic FF too. What a wonderful idea to take goodies to the local shelter once a month! We like that. Our Mom has accidentally bought the wrong food before. We cut her sum slack fur it the first time. Now, demerits are handed out!

  23. Madi, no cat should work that hard to eat. It was really nice of your mom to donate that food to the shelter.

  24. It looks like you had a hard time eating it, right?
Those cans and the blankies are going to make them happy!
    Good girls!

  25. Here you are! I was wondering about you both last night.

Madi, you are the only one who requires the classic grilled FF. Miss Cindi will lick the gravy and leave the chunks. Same with the Kitty Krew. Does any cat out there eat the sliced I wonder?

C, that is so nice of both of you moms to take blankets and food to the shelter. The sweet animals will very much appreciate your kindness.

Cindi Lou and The Kitty Krew
