Tuesday Tale

Happy Tuesday.
Today I'd like to discuss a very serious
set of circumstances:  2 leggers who change their routine
Just the other day I was heading up to the
red room for my afternoon sun puddles snooze
(below picture taken before the serious set of circumstances)

Lo and behold there was Mom sitting in the red room.
She never does that in the she should have been slaving over my blog!!
Of course being a tad peeved curious cat I had to investigate.
OMC this is serious she has a book, her iPad and a bottle of
water.  It appears she is here for the long haul.

There was no way I was going to do any sun puddle dreaming
so I decided I'd just read over her shoulder but even that
didn't make her leave.
Good news is I found out the back of this chair is pretty darn comfy.  Yes sir're Bob*  I'll be taking more naps from here.
*(no clue who Bob is but Mom says it all the time)

  1. Madi, did you catch up on your reading, over Mom's shoulders that is?! :)
It's just too darn hot for her go outside on the patio to read and listen to the birds!
She would melt and then who would feed you?!
Some times changes in routine are good!
    Soothing chin scratches

  2. Hee-hee, at least you got a new comfy snoozin spot out of the change, Madi. We don't know who Bob is either, but our Mom tells him "yes" all the time, too! MOL! Happy Tuesday and we hopes you find lots of new and cool snoozin spot this summer. **headbumpies ** from your favorite mancat, Prancer Pie.

  3. Madi, I am glad you were able to adapt. How dare our Peeps do anything to change our routine!

    Loveys Sasha

  4. Sorry Madi but hoomans are known to change their routines at the drop of a hat (or when it's really hot outside). We just have to rise to the occasion like the superior beings we are and adapt. Of course it looks like you have adapted well to that cushy chair back.

Cindi Lou and The Kitty Krew
PS, our friendly neighborhood stray, by the name of Bob, says he has no idea what that means either.

  5. Madi you are funny! Happy Tuesday to all!
    Best wishes Molly

  6. Yeah, who is that Bob person?!?! I can't stand it when they change their routine either!

  7. Me and mum say Bob too but I still has no clue who he is or Pete fur dat matter.
Howevers I can imagine da trauma you was goin' through when your mom changed schedules on you withs no warning...they act like they can do what they want, when they want. But truth be told, it should be all bouts our schedules.

We has a room we call da Blue Room.

  8. Glad you were able to adapt to the new situation Madi and get comfy on the back of the chair :-) I think it's nice that you spent the afternoon together...girl time!!!

  9. i say yessiree bob all the time, and my hubby is bob but i don't think that is the bob it means because i said it before i met bob.... love that sun puddle, baby is a sun puddle seeker to. but she can't sleep on the back of a chair like you do....keep mom under control... let her know you own that room and that puddle.

  10. Cupid loves the back of comfy chairs too!

Glad you and Mom worked together to make it a nice time for both of you. Mom deserves a break every now and again. :)

  11. You need to tend to that breach of scheduling. We've learneded the hard way if you don't keep a firm paw on your hoomans they get all squirrel poop crazy and think they can do anything.

    Shelle, Milo, Dixie and Newby,

  12. Gosh I sure know what you mean about routines! My Mom is home this entire week! Now don't get me wrong, I am enjoying that, but I am not getting my beauty rest that I need with her around!
Lovies to my BFFF, Miss Mindy

  13. How dare they interrupt your routine? On the other hand, you found another great place to park.

  14. Oh My COD Madi. I can't believe that peep did that to you. Glad you were able to read over her shoulder. Was it a good book?? Our person doesn't change her schedule too often except to go in that room with that Baby Doll who is so anti social, we aren't allowed in there.
Maybe you could sneak in a little nap.
Happy Fourth to all of you.

  15. Looks like you are enjoying your day Queen Madi! As you should! Thank you SO much for the beautiful card! We were so surprised and HAPPY! You and your mommy are so thoughtful! Sorry I haven't emailed -- still unpacking!

  16. happy 4th of July

Thanks for inquiring on me Mom. I haven't missed blogging yet....
So haven't decided when I'll return.

  17. LOL its a tough job but us as pets have to keep our humans in check to ensure they are doing what we want them to do :) Im just glad you found a comfy place to relax while doing it :)

  18. Reading and sunning in the Red Room sounds very romantic, Madi. It looks like you even found a sunpuddle on the back of that chair: )

Woos - Phantom, Thunder, Ciara, and Lightning

  19. Thank you so much for your kind words about our Chevelle.
The Creek Cats, Maggie May and Mom

  20. I know what you mean about peeps ... switching thingys ... withOUT our PAWmission. SO THOUGHTLESS of them!!! It is Hard to make the MOSTEST of these changes.. butt you seem to be doing a good job of it.

  21. Woof I know... BK says they do not do it but I know they do! Echo!

  22. Those humans are so unpredictable. Did you EVER get her to move?

  23. Yeah, our mom mentions that Bob dood a lot too. Who is dat guy?

    Laila, your LLS

  24. Madi
A good thing came of it, you found a new comfy sleeping spot.

  25. Madi, we hate when the humans change their routines. It's so disruptive! We're glad you were able to make your mom's routine change work for you.

  26. Sure it looks like a very comfy spot!
    Enjoy it!
    Kisses and hugs

  27. We don't know what a book is, but the back of the couch is always comfortable.

  28. Bob is Mom's love interest...didn't you know that? Well you do now. Oh wait...that's not right. Who knows, but yessiree Bob, you'll be the first to find out when she whispers in you ear.

Please leave a meow or bark for Angel Madi...her assistant (aka Mom) will respond in a timely fashion. =^..^=
