Ambassadors of Responsible Pet Ownership
1. Please introduce yourself(selves), tell us your ages and a very special trait. Since I was the first one here, I Cindi Lou Who, will get this started. I'm about 8 years old. The Kitty Krew members are 2 years, 5 months.
Me next! My name is Georgia and I'm 6 months old, I'm a big girl. I can jump high, all the way up to the kitchen counters. Oops, don't tell Mama I said that.
I'm Adam. I'm 5 months old. I can run really, really fast and turn somersaults.

2. If you had and alter ego, who would you like to be and why We like being kitties, it's fun to run, jump and play all the time and nap when we want to. Hey guys, Adam here, when I grow up I wants to be a cowboy! Georgia wants to be a movie star!
3. What do you like best/least about where you live We live in a house with lots and lots of windows so we can see what's going on in our yard. The Kitty Krew lives on the patio and the big back yard. We loves everything 'bout it.
4. Who are some peeps/furiends you'd like to meet and why
We would like to meet all of our blogging buddies.
5. If you could give one piece of random advice what would it be? Play hard, nap often.
6. What do you do for fun The Kitty Krew prowls the yard watching out for squirrels. They have fun chasing those tree rats back to the trees. Georgia and Adam like to play chase with each other and hide in their tunnel. We all like to beat up on our stuffies. But our very favorite thing to do is cuddle with our Mama.
7. What is the first thing you do each morning After breakfast we take a nap. We have been guarding the house from monsters (playing, knocking things over, the usual) all night you know.
8. What is the first thing you notice about a new furiend
Their scent. It is very important. Then we ask them if they want to play.
9. Tell us how you came to live in your family and how you got your name. Cindi Lou here. I was a pitiful stray that turned up on the doorstep. I was being bullied by the other cats so the Squirrel Lady took me in. It was around Christmas time and I reminded Mama of the character on How the Grinch Stole Christmas. The Kitty Krew came to our yard as tiny kittens of a feral mama. The mama cat somehow knew they would be safe here.
The Kitty Krew (Big Boy, Little Boy, Spooky, Bandit and Sissi Cat). Most everyone got their names by the way they behaved. Miss Sissi acted just like a big sister to her siblings, she would protect each one even though all were the same size.
Me next! My name is Georgia. A lady found me and my siblings along side a road, I was the only survivor and I was hungry and thirsty and very skinny. I was about 4 weeks old and weighed less than a pound and a half. Mama Squirrel took care of me, fed me special food and now I'm a big girl of 6 months. Mama asked all here blogging friends to help with a name for me. Madi and her Mom suggested Georgia since I looked (and I am) as soft as a Georgia peach. Madi, since you named me does that mean you are my Fairy Cod Mama?
I'm Adam. Mama brought me home after a spay/neuter event cause I was very sick and needed medicine and special care. When me and Georgia met we instantly became bestest best friends. It made me very happy when Mama adopted me so Georgia and I could be together furever. The lady who brought me to the shelter gave me my name.

10. What is your absolute favorite food Our favorite treat is the freeze dried tuna and salmon nummies. They are yummy but we only get them for special treats.
BONUS QUESTION FOR MS. JUDY:
PLEASE TELL US HOW YOU BECAME INVOLVED IN TNR PROGRAM IN YOUR CITY AND SOME OF THE THINGS YOU DO DURING THE SPAY/NEUTER EVENTS. ALSO GIVE A SHOUT OUT TO ANY/ALL OF THE VOLUNTEERS. I become involved with the trap/neuter/return (TNR) program when I was looking for a way to get the feral mama kitty and her kittens spayed/neutered. That was just over two years ago. During events I help with check-in, triage the cats for surgery and to see if other treatments are needed. I also run the post-op area which is where we give each cat rabies vaccine, RCP (an upper respiratory vaccine), and a microchip for identification. For feral cats who are part of a controlled colony we tip the ear, all other cats get an ear tattoo. Each cat is monitored to make sure it has a smooth recovery.
I especially want to thank the vets and vet students who volunteer their time. Without them this program would not be possible. Also a big thank you to the Blue Mountain Humane Society (http://bluemountainhumane.org/)who give us the use of their facilities and provide support staff.
The group is called Cat Management Coalition. We have a Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/pages/Cat-Management-Coalition/180581635299631?fref=pb
