Recently the peeps took a new section of the Green Way
trail around our fair city. It was smack in the middle of a
work day so they had it all to themselves. The end of the trail was just around the bend from where this picture was taken. On the way back to the car they encounter fresh footprints.
There were no peeps or pets on the trail and no way they
could have passed the peeps...just woods. So the footprints were a little spooky. They think they had a close encounter
with possibly a fox. Can any of you read
critters footprints?
Ooooo spooky. Maybe it's a mountain lion. Or a tiger or a bear. Glad they made is safe back home so you could be fed.

Madi, I hope its not an alien or maybe a ghost. Now I am scared, I am going to snuggle by Mom. I am sure it is nothing(aliens)at all to worry(ghosts)about. You look beautiful as always.

I vote for a fox or coyote. We have some fox that live around our property and see footprints on our driveway all the time. Hopefully it wasn't from a lost dog trying to find his way home.
ReplyDeleteCindy
maybe it was a huge wild cat!!!
ReplyDeleteXXXOOO Daisy, Bella & Roxy
That is spooky. We're casting our vote for coyote or fox too since both are quiet and don't like to be seen. But on the other hand it could have been a ghost critter. That would be a lot more fun .... as long as it isn't in our house. Then we would run and hide.

*gulp* We don't know who those prints belonged too but we're glad your peeps got home safely!
ReplyDeleteOoooooooooooh, a phantom in your midst. What a story that is. No, I can't read prints at all. Well, cat prints. Hey, I shoulda checked out the Photo Hunt and taken a pic of OUR footprints...in the garage...they're cat prints of course, but they're embedded in the cement flooring. Someday I'll try and remember to get a photo of them.
ReplyDeleteThose are really scary SPOOKY foot prints.. We just hope they aren't SQUIRREL Tracks.
ReplyDeleteI think it is a fox... wow, to bad you did not see him/her... to big for squirrels and not a raccoon, i know what they look like. could have been A Bigfoot CAT... MOL
ReplyDeleteCool looking footprints Mom captured!
ReplyDeleteWe agree with Sandra, they look like a fox. Coyotes have bigger footprints.

ReplyDeleteHello Pretty Mayor Madi! Those footprints say there is good whiffin' aboutz,
ReplyDeleteHope your grandma is feeling better Madi! Those are some crazy footprints - is it a dog?
ReplyDeleteHi Madi, thanks so much for visiting us and your kind words. That's really interesting about the footprints. A good mystery is always fun.
ReplyDeleteYou look very cute there today and I like your green sardine.
Spooky!! We think it might be a fox. Sometimes we see fox footprints in the muddy gateways to the fields. Of course when we see them we have to sniff sniff sniff and then pee by them.
ReplyDeleteSome of those critters can blend in and meld to the surroundings. Just think it could have been watching them.
ReplyDeleteMadi, are you gray and white or black and white?
