My bed was made by Coccolino's Mom Katie
The next four pictures were taken by Mom last weekend.
All are Taylor's Creek in Beaufort, NC
Pictures are straight out of the camera...
mom doesn't know much about taking photos of
scenery. She said they were happy accidents.
You may click on them to enlarge
Note the sun beams coming through the clouds
Shackleford Island across the creek
iPad AUTOCORRECT HUMOR.
TOGM's fingers work much faster than her
brain. She is known far and wide for
emails she sends with autocorrect funnies.
Mom sent my human sis an early morning
bday email on 8/28/14.
(be sure to swallow any food or beverages)
She ended the email with.....
1. Lots of lice Ma and Daddy....
Sis replied: "thank you for the bday wishes.
I hope I don't get any lice today."
Of course mom meant Lots of love....
2. Nearly every single time mom means to
type Madi...she hits the 'f' instead of 'd'.
Autocorrect changes it to Mafia.
3. I cannot tell you how many times she means to type
precious....however, she hits the 'v' instead of the 'c'. Typing previous instead of precious. Sometimes it is embarrassing...like when she "typed your previous husband and meant precious husband". So she apologizes ahead of time if she ever does this to any of our friends again.
Madi, those pictures are really beautiful! I love love love your bed, it is so pretty and looks way comfy. Mommy has a lot of those auto correct problems too. She tries to always read her comments before she hits publish, but sometimes she messes up. It is pretty funny. She always seems to type Mardi for you, but usually catches it. I won't allow her to spell your name wrong EVER.

What beautimous pictures your Mama took Madi!!! Our Mama doesn't even need autocorrect to spell things wrong!!! BOL
ReplyDeleteSmileys!
Dory, Jakey, Arty & Bilbo
Your bed looks pretty comfy!
ReplyDeleteThese are hilarious autocorrects! Our Mommy had it on her phone for less than 24 hrs and turned it off. She said she was afraid she would end up in jail. MOL!
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderfully lazy Sunday hanging out on that cool bed, Madi. (or Mafia)
>>Smooches>> from your furriends at Angel Prancer Pie.
Lovely pictures of Taylor's Creek.
ReplyDeleteWE HATE AUTOCORRECT!!!
Those are gorgeous photos, Madi!
ReplyDeleteBOL BOL and we hate autocorrect too. Damn nuisance. Have a serene easy Sunday now.
ReplyDeleteBest wishes Molly
I am glad i was not eating... Mafia Madi just made me laugh out loud... i suffer from this same disease... so do my 3 friends that email every day... we all laugh like crazy at the things that we send. and the funny thing is, i will get a reply and see the error and reply about what it should have been and they will say we did not even see it. they read what i meant to write and i write what I meant to say.
ReplyDeleteLice is just to funny..... hope she had a happy birthday and got no lice
Autocorrect can be both the best thing and the worst thing at all times. ...but, it makes for some funny reading!
ReplyDeleteYour photos are great!
Monty and Harlow
Thank COD, this computer doesn't do that. Those are great pictures and the Person loved seeing them since she is from Charleston and misses seeing the marinas, etc. Happy Sunday to all of you.
ReplyDeleteI have never been to Taylor's Creek and I am missing something very pretty! Your Mom took some great pictures of the pretty there Madi! I struggle with autocorrect too.. it amuses me! I love your Mom's sig line.. says it all!
ReplyDeleteMom was sending a text to friends she was meeting and MEANT to say she was just passing the pool. Auto correct made it say she was doing something VERY inappropriate IN the pool!!!
ReplyDeleteHugs from your guy Raz and The Florida Furkids
I like your bed, it's great to spend an easy sunday. Do you have your boat in that harbor too? The official flagship of blogville? I hope your sis will get no lice hahahaha... but it's a "special" birthdaywish, that's for sure... and even lots of lice...lol. the auto-thingy changed a simple "have fun" in a "have fu*k"... I wonder what kind of words they storaged in that thingies...
ReplyDeleteYou look very serene on your pretty bed.
ReplyDeleteOH the AUTO CORRECT... we turned it OFF. BUTT you gotta admit it DOES make fur so FUN reading at times...
WE love your bed Madi! and your lovely pictures too. Oh Auto correct, it is great for some laughs

ReplyDeleteLovely photos :-) and LOVE your bed Madi. Oh! I got issues with my iPhone autocorrect, its terrible and can be embracing. LOL! to your mom. Happy Sunday. Golden Woofs
ReplyDeleteWhat a cool looking bed. Looks like a nice relaxing place you have there
ReplyDeleteLily & Edward
MOL! Mafia Madi is funny.
ReplyDeleteMy mum turned autocorrect off. For some reason every time she types wonderful she puts a K instead of an L and of course auto correct put the wrong word in and she never noticed it most times.
Those photos are lovely.
We have the same problem with autocorrect. Mom used the word easy and spelled east instead. So sometimes weird sentences come out. MOL Happy Sunday!
ReplyDeleteYour bed is so pretty, Mady - enjoy an Easy Sunday. Our Mom totally understands about the autocorrect - too funny. Bet your sister doens't want any part of lice:)
ReplyDeleteWoos - Phantom, Ciara, and Lightning
Oops - forgot to mention how beautiful the photos are - they would look beautiful enlarged and hung on the wall.
ReplyDeleteWoos - Phantom, Ciara, and Lightning
Your Mom took pretty photos!! We got a good giggle out of the autocorrect "uhohs" and we've ALL had those before......in the end the messages we send - even those with "uhohs" get the point across - maybe with the added bonus of a giggle or two!
ReplyDeleteHugs, Sammy
So funny - OMG is there anybody who doesn't hate autocorrect! It refuses to recognize my grandchildren's names and comes up with all kinds of icky stuff if I don't check before I hit send!
ReplyDeleteTruly beautiful photos of Beaufort NC. Made me nostalgic; I met my husband there many years ago when we were studying at Duke's Marine Lab there...
We love your autocorrect funnies! The head peep's friends say they have to be able to speak head peep to understand anything she sends in a text because of how autocorrect mangles it. She never notices until after it is sent!
ReplyDeleteOMC Madi mommy had to turn off da auto-cowwect feature. Cuz speakin' cat suwe got sum stwange words and sentences. MOL
ReplyDeleteLuv ya'
Dezi
Its a lovely bed Maddi, and your mum took lovely pictures. love them. The auto correct is funny too.
ReplyDeleteBwahaahaa! As more of my relatives use iPads and iphones, their messages get more cryptic....sometimes downright undecypherable.
ReplyDeleteLove the photos. Look professional.
Beautiful new bed!! Fit for a Diva!
ReplyDeleteLove Mom's "happy accidents", very tranquil looking sea!
And your Mom's messages would be hers if there wasn't some typo!
It makes emails that more exciting to decipher! LOL
Hugs and nose taps,
Kathy and Molly
Love the pictures. I've been the recipient of some of your mom's auto correct funnies too.
ReplyDeleteMOL! Those autocorrects made us laugh, Madi! And those are some nice pictures that your mom took.

ReplyDeleteNows, ma doesn't have that autocorrect thingie, cause she just has a desktop that sucks, so she has to do everythings by hand....butts that autocorrect sounds like fun! I wonder what it would make of margaritas....
Kisses,
Ruby ♥
Wow, great photos. Our mama loves to see boats. The auto correct things are hilarious! Mama turned that feature off on her phone cause it was never right and made some really strange changes too.
