Thursday Tale: Starvation

Thus the day in the life of a starving Diva
Hugs
Madi

Note from Meany Mom:  Madi also gets  ~2/3 cup of  kibble a day:  1/3 with breakfast and 1/3 before bed. She is such a
Drama Queen!!

  1. Oh yes, a drama queen for sure! I feed our crew of cats twice a day. They meow for about an hour before time!!!

  2. Madi, even Eeyore couldn't have been hidden behind that piddly little amount. We think you should be rationing your mom, too. Only fair.

  3. This makes us look like little piggies. We eat lots more than that. Mommy says we get a bunch of exercise by acting like crazy kittehz, though. MOL!
    Happy Thursday!

  6. Wow, that does look kind of sad on the plate! I get twice that much for breakfast, and for dinner I get a whole half a can! But then, I don't eat any dry food.

  10. You're going to waste away to nothing with that microsopic amount of canned food, Madi! Paws crossed that this diet ends soon.

  11. Madi, we are firing up the tunnel and will be right there with lots and lots of food. At your age, you should be able to eat whatever you want to eat. But it is probably healthier for you to eat just a little less. You all have a great day.

  12. I nearly fainted from relief when i read you get kibble ALSO... i was about to call the cat patrol to come rescue you from being tortured and starved... MOL one thing for sure you do look healthy.

  13. Well, we sure are glad Mom added that note - we were worried you REALLY would be starving!!!

It akes Mom 87 hours to prepare our meals too, and then we are done in less than 20 seconds:)

  14. OMC OMC THAT is such a TINY amount that we had to BIGGIFY the Pictures and put mom's Glasses on to even TRY to see it... and the kibble portions are just UNSPEAKABLE... That is not enough to feed a Squirrel.
THIS is a HORROR... we don't know how you can have enough energy to even get on the bed... let alone climb that Mountain of Steps you have...

  15. OMC how can you survive on that teeeennnnyyyy tinnnyyyy bit? Do you know what OUR Mom does? One super duper teeny tiny Fancy Feast can.....split between the 3 of us! HUH? That's outrageous!!! Oh yeah...we do have kibble too but really......portions? How about a can EACH Mom????

  26. We are having food issues at our house too Madi. Every morning we get up, I go outside to potty and then expect my breakfast to be served. do you know Mom has had the nerve the last two mornings to go the bathroom BEFORE serving me.
Well I let her know my displeasure

  27. Madi, we totally agree with you… there is never enough food served! MORE, MOOOREEEE!!!

  28. I am sorry that you are being starved- I think demerits need to be issued.

    ReplyDelete
  29. Madi, we think maybe you need an Intervention to get you some food! Mumsy always keeps kibble in the big dish in the kitchen so we can nom when we get hungry. We panic when we can see the bottom of the bowl even just a little bit!

  30. My crew has felt that way on more days than they can count -- Despite nearly starving every single day, and making them wait, they love me anyway! :-)

    ReplyDelete
  31. Oh no, not the dreaded measured food! Angel Pip warned me all about that ...they used to do that to him, too. But he always outsmarted the humans by learning to open cabinet doors and help himself!

    ReplyDelete
  32. It seems you have the exact same problem as I do! Not enough food! Well, not enough nice food anyway. I am not counting that dry stuff that's there all day long! I am with you on this one Madi!!

  33. If you have read my blog, you know that I have 2 kitty sistahs. They have food in their bowl all the time (mum had to put it where I -- and Cody before me) could not reach it. Every few days she opens one of the little containers of Meow Mix wet food. Only Tigger III eats it, so she only opens one -- that is also because after Tigger has eaten her fill, she knocks it on the floor for ME to finish!!! I personally get 2 scoops of Kibble in the morning and one container of Beneful moist food in the evenings (when mum remembers -- which is almost EVERY day unless I get a LOT of treats)
