Hidey ho Furiends of Madi.....thank goodness
she only visited me via Pizap...I've never met a
cat in the Furs!!!
First I'd like to thank mom of Madi for being my
dog walking nanny. I must tell you all
I was a tad hesitant on our first walk but
dang the Old Gray Mare did a fantastic job of taking me where I wanted to go.
Note from the Old Gray Mare!! This was the first time I have walked a dog in 37 years.
(For those new to the blog..our first family pet was a might mini Dachshund named Toto!!)
Kasi was used to seeing me in the yard. The first day I went in her house she was a tad confused.
It took about 20 minutes of her walking between the den and kitchen. I was sitting on the floor each
time she got closer to me. Finally she approached me with her head down, I assume so I could attach the leash. Off we went on day one in the rain. These photos are from day two
(11/12/15) sunny and 73 degrees!! This afternoon walk is good for me and good for Kasi!!

Good for you for persevering with her. Pretty soon she will be knocking you down in her rush to go for a walk.
ReplyDeleteI sometimes take our next door neighbour's border collie out. An act of treason Elliot finds unforgivable, lol.

Kasi has a pretty fur pattern. I wish I could say it was so long since I walked a dog, but I watch my niece's Jack Russel sometimes.
ReplyDeleteHi there, Kasi! I love your name, even if you use the girly spelling. BOL. I'm so glad Madi's Momma is able to take you out for your daily constitutional.
ReplyDeleteMadi your Mom is getting good at pizap... it took me a befuddled couple of minutes to read again and figure out what was going on. Kasi you are lucky to have Madi's Mom, I think she loves animals... lots!
ReplyDeleteMadi, it's sure good of you to loan out your Mom - and to a woofie, too.

How nice to have a dog to walk, even if it is temporarily!
ReplyDeleteKasi has very interesting coloring. Do you know what breed she is? That is so nice that you can walk her for her peeps.
ReplyDeleteIt looks more like Kasi walked you instead of you walking her. :)
ReplyDeleteWalking a dog is like riding a bike, it all comes back as soon as you want to go and they want to finish reading pee mail! Haha!
ReplyDeleteKasi is very cute and we know she appreciates your time with her. What does Kasi think about cats?
ReplyDeleteShe looks like a herding breed. Have you ever been herded, Madi?

P.S. Tegan thanks you for the most thoughtful 'Welcome' card. We shall post of it soon, if it survives a 5 month old terrier!
