Yep the tree is still up. We have a very cold week predicted (no day over 30 F). No going in and out of the garage putting decorations up. Everything else is put away.
Photo taken 1/1/18 just as the super moon was visible to the east.
Already huge

You don't take the decorations down until the 12th day of Christmas anyway. We can never get a photo of that moon...super or otherwise!
ReplyDeleteI heard about how cold it is on the whole east side of the U.S.! Our tree is still up... but that's because my human still needs it for photo sessions.
ReplyDeleteYeah, all da decorayshuns are still up in our nayborhood.

ReplyDelete6th January is the official 'demounting' date; but whatever... hugs and whiskeries, YAM-aunty xxx
YAY MADI for being one of the First Commenters on the Teaser! Also YAY for capturing that moon.....sure was a biggie! We got our tree and stuff down because it goes in our basement and not the garage where it's super cold otherwise we'd have it up until Easter!
ReplyDeleteHugs, Teddy
Our small trees are still up too, Madi, and everything else has been put away. Mom can't bear to let the cheerful Christmas lights go!
ReplyDeleteIt is way too cold. Even in Florida. Enjoy your naps, guys.
ReplyDeleteOh Madi, you do look so comfy.Nothing wrong with leaving the tree up. You all have a wonderful day.
ReplyDeleteFirst, we are excited that we can comment today. Yesterday our internet or something would let us read but we couldn't comment. Second, we are doing a happy dance as it was finally warm enough to be outside, for a walk! Third, January is such a blah month, keeping the tree up is likely a good idea. Lady took hers down on Sunday. Mind you they had been up since November 12!
ReplyDeleteOh yes, I have a SUPER-moon here as well...you nose what that means? Yep, lots of looooong chats with Chester on the moon phone *sigh* he's such a darling!
ReplyDeleteLoves and licky kisses

Good job on the Teaser, Madi and Mom... congratulations! We put our nekkid never got decorated tree away Sunday. Mom's little ceramic tree is still up. Nice collage of the moon!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations Madi! Did you guess right as well?
ReplyDeleteMara from Norway
sorry for those low temps you are having and maybe even a little snow. the whole eastern coast of USA is colder than they ever are this time of year.
ReplyDeleteDon't worry about the decorations because ours are still up too. We wish it was as warm as 30 degrees here. Friday and Saturday we aren't expected to get above zero!!
ReplyDeleteWe've been going out as little as possible too. Unless there's a squirrel!
ReplyDeleteYou're supposed to leave decorations up until Epiphany (1/6) anyway! That's when the Wise Men find Baby Jesus.
ReplyDeleteoops, I didn't put any up.....so none to take down :)
ReplyDeleteAll our Christmas stuff is back insrorage. Cold storage in the basement:)
ReplyDeleteWe loved the full moon. Lots of fun for Misty and Lightning last night out there.

Why are we all in the cold zone these days? Rotten weather...boo, hiss!
ReplyDeleteWE have all our decorations put away but our Christmas cards are still up!

Nice pictures of the super moon Madi. We’ve still got our tree up too.
ReplyDeleteNice photos of the moon. We keep our indoor tree up until Jan. 6th. The spiral trees outside are going to be there until Easter if it continues to be so cold. XO
ReplyDeleteIt’s cold here too. Our tree is down and all the decorations are boxed up. The mom put everything in the room down below until it warms up and we can put it all back into the garage. We have storage up on top for all that.stuff.
ReplyDeleteWow! Concatulations on winning at Sammy and Teddy's! And no wonder we are never first...that would be 4:06 AM Where we live. We were sleeping!
ReplyDeleteAnd we don't get to see the super moon...we have FOG!

Oh gurl, I am SO behind! Ma has been so busy with peep stuffs, she hasn't caught up with my bloggie and my comments! Hey, you needs to come to the West Coast! It might be raining, butts our LOW was 46! Our high has been in the 60's!!!! It seems we are the only respite from the arctic aire that has taken over the country! Oh, and Ma still has the wreath on the door...sigh
ReplyDeleteKisses,
Ruby ♥
Great shots of that huge looking moon. I keep my decorations in the attic, and it is too cold to go up there, too!
