Today is also National Straw Hat Day
We thank Ms. Ann at Zoolatry for this lovely button.
Angel Madi loved pawticipating in any and all events so today
I'm re-posting a picture from May 15, 2012, of Madi's tush in a straw hat
MOL Mom felt fortunate to get this picture so she decided not to
try to get one with it on my head.

I never asked Madi to do anything I would not do.
I am not much of a hat person but I had to buy this for our
trip to Moab, UT and Colorado in June 2017
we love your photo... and a diva can wear a hat even da most special way it gives her always this special something to become da bestest eye catcher ;o)
ReplyDeleteI once went to a straw hat making session with friends. I thought I was braiding the straw lengths well until the instructor came to me and said, 'you've been dragged along today, haven't you....' I did make a hat even though I would have had to have a turban under it.
ReplyDeleteYou both wear your hats well!
ReplyDeleteYou both look fabulous in your straw hats!
ReplyDeleteHari om
ReplyDeleteHappy hats!!! YAM xx
So much fun to see Angel Madi. And the Mom sure looks good in her straw hat. Have a super day.
ReplyDeleteI only wear a ball cap if I'm fishing or doing yard work.
ReplyDeletei live in the land of straw hats and own not one. I have a big head and hats hurt my head and give me a head ache, even the king that is open at the top... bob used to wear a ball cap while fishing but have not seen one on him in years... now that I am thinking about it no one wears hats here, there are some on the beach but not many... my grandmother used to wear long sleeves, knee pants and a very big brim straw hat to the each, sit in her chair and drape a towel over her legs. we used to tease her she might as well have stayed home... I can see her sitting there in my memory.
ReplyDeleteThose were fun you two, we love the hats!
ReplyDeleteHappy Straw Hat day! We sure wish our weather would get the message that we are supposed to put our winter things away. It's still cold enough in the mornings to wear a winter coat!
ReplyDeleteI met you through Angel Madi. I'm happy I did meet you, but sad about Madi.
ReplyDeleteHave a fabulous day, honey. Big hug. ♥

A very fine hat! I need to get one myself for my yard work.
ReplyDeleteYou and Madi both wore your straw hats in mighty fine fashion although I must say I'm glad you decided NOT to wear yours the way SHE wore hers!! Tee Hee
