Awww Monday and Sparks

Awww Monday as in  Awww Shucks I'm addicted to quilting.
Years ago while admiring a friend's quilts...she warned me... if you ever get started
you won't be able to quit...quilting.  She was correct.

Now I'm building up my supply of quilts for gifts...
you gotta love CATS in my world.

Fall Quilt for US made from pre cut 10" layer cake squares.
On August 15 I showed you a similar quilt I made for our daughter and SIL's 21st anniversary.
I ordered these back in June from Missouri Star Quilting
I put my on spin on it with the Prairie Points (triangle fabric) around the edge
After it was all said and done I had one 10" square remaining.
I hemmed the edges, top stitched the steams of the leaves the sewed it on the quilt
right side of of collage.

  20. You are doing a great job with your quilting. It's tough to walk through a quilt shop (or shop online) and not fall in love with all sorts of fabric since they change every season.

  25. Wonderful quilts. Dad just sold his big machines that have been sitting in the garage. He has been thinking of getting a sewing machine but may go for woodworking tools. Since he had to give up making things in his metal shop (the hammers and air tools aggravated his elbow) he feels like he has lost something.
