Thoroughly Thankful Poetic Thursday #9

Thankful Thursday with Brian and his Siblings

Thankful Thursday

First thank you all for your thoughts and comments yesterday regarding the Fiasco that was our Anniversary dinner.  Let me just say there was so much I didn't write.
And I cleaned up what I did write.
As several of you mentioned Political Correctness has gone so far as to
make rudeness ok and those who suffer thru it at a loss.

Today we join Two  SPOILED CATS
Angel Sammy and Teddy for their poetic pictorial poem.

Here is today's inspiration

Dancing close is what we do.
To and fro we go,
to the beat of the rhythm.
My peep toe heels offer no protection.
I hold on tight and hope
he doesn't step on my toes or drop
me on my on my nose.

  1. to step on nekked toes is much more worse than to step on blue suede shoes , right?

  2. Oh no! I hope she doesn't get dropped on her nose. Thanks for the smile.

  3. LOVE IT! Wonderful job and wasn't that a FUN photo to write a poem to? We thought so too!!!!! Hugs for joining us in writing a poem every week to Sammy's photos. It's so much fun reading everyone's poetry.

    Love, Pam

  4. Love your poem and that gorgeous picture!

  5. I'm the toe walker of our dance family! He just smiles at me.

  6. Owieeeeeeee on the toes and no to dropping on the nose! Luckily I guess, Jerry doesn't like to dance.

  7. That's a fun poem to go with that picture. We hope he doesn't step on her toes too often.

  8. That's such a cute poem! Us kitties sure don't like to eat when it's noisy. Thanks for joining the Thankful Thursday Blog Hop!

  9. I'm picturing GW and dad dancing ....... BOL LMAO ROFL!

  10. The Hubby and I had a discussion about your restaurant situation, and we didn't find a comfortable solution, unfortunately. My original thoughts changed after reading your email, but surely the restaurant must have a legal way to deal with it...we just don't know what that is. Perhaps, they need to post signs that clearly say, "One must use a clean plate every time at the salad bar, or you'll be asked to leave" and/or "Please consider your fellow diners; if too disruptive, the management reserves the right to ask visitors to leave."

  11. Hubby and I had a long talk about your anniversary dinner fiasco. That owner better get rid of those folks or they are going to lose a lot of business. What a shame. Anyway hubby and I both had the same approach to these clods. Bless their hearts.

Have a fabulous Thankful Thursday, honey. Big hug. ♥

  12. Yes, I would be worried about my toes...
    Cheers, Gail.

  13. I'd probably be the one stepping on his toes.

  14. BOL...I also have been known to be the one stepping on toes LOL!

  15. I have to go back and read yesterday's post; I wasn't online, I'm thinking I missed something ~~

  16. Sure hope you don't get dropped on your nose. And leave te toes alone.

  17. Lovely poem! If you do get out here to the Pacific Northwest let me know and we could meet up someplace! Cheers!

  18. Wow, dancing has become so difficult lately. I remember when you just held one another and stepped back and forth.

  19. I am often to blogging and i really appreciate your content. The article has really peaks my interest. I am going to bookmark your site and keep checking for new information.
