Thoroughly Poetic Thursday#27

Today we join Two  SPOILED CATS
Angel Sammy and Teddy for their poetic pictorial poem.

Here is today's inspiration

  1. that is a sweet ode to a flower... we hope it is always brave and it will find the light

  2. Hari OM
OH, yes, you have excelled today Miss C!!! YAM xx

  3. Love your poem and that cute little flower.

  4. YES! Perfection in a poem.....just what most of us saw and felt when we studied this persistent little yellow flower in the pavement. DETERMINATION!

Thanks for playing poetry with us...............
    Love, Pam

  5. Aw that is a lovely poem. We have learned, this year, quite how abundantly our flowers will grow through cracks in the pavement, if the city council suspend their weed killing services!

  6. Love the determination of this little yellow flower. Very good words, Cecilia!

  7. Good poem for the picture.

Ya know I have seen things growing in the strangest places. Up on a roof in a crack. Next to a bridge pillar with all concrete around it. Where there is a will there is a way.

  8. A flower in a crack
    well hurt my back
when I bend over to pick it
and take it home to stick it.
    In a vase haha

  9. What a sweet poem for that picture.

  10. That really was a super sweet poem, we enjoyed!

  11. We had one little sprig of sweet woodruff growing up through a knothole in a wooden plank just like that little flower. Amazing!

  12. I love, love, love your poem. Sizes that photograph up so very nicely.

Have a fabulous day, my friend. Big hug. ♥

  13. great poem today C !!! and the border around it is just as awesome !! & az da tabbies have been sayin today

heerz two a noize free... safe.... N happee week oh end :) ♥♥

  14. The queen of pavement braving the heat...
Stop and say howdy would be quite neat.
Don't pick me, I will shrivel & wilt...
    Enjoy my beauty, my beauty,
    to the hilt!

  15. That's a tough flower to worm its way through that crack - your poem says it all very well.

We love your Fourth of July header!!!

Woos - Lightning, Misty, and Timber

  16. I love the poem...and the tenacity the little one exhibited to any and all fortunate enough to see.

  17. I read this as don't be afraid to make the most of any situation and to be yourself. Good advice for all. Happy 4th!

  18. That's a lovely poem for a very strong flower.
