21. KINKAJOU,
what a great name for this adorable critter 
it rolls right off your tongue 


The kinkajou is a tropical rainforest mammal of the family Procyonidae related to olingos, coatis, raccoons, and the ringtail and cacomistle. It is the only member of the genus Potos and is also known as the "honey bear", from Central and South American rainforests *thanks YAM!!

  1. There is a Ukranian island called Maican in the River Danube where it runs between the Ukraine and Romania but seems to remote to refer to that.

    #6 - could be Paw-strainer or Paws Turner... or Pa W S Turner... just guesses as research didn't through any further light!
    #10 - Maican is an island found on the upper Danube near Ukraine/Romania. It is also a surname, mostly originating from the Balkan region, but quite wide spread and a large portion to be found in Venezuela...
    #15 - I am guessing you spotted the vehicle of Bill Crouch - founder of the Bright Dot organisation which is hq'd in Raleigh!
    #17 - I am guessing at "fruit pit" (as in the stone in a fruit) - maybe they core apples for a living?
    #21 - that is definitely NOT an Aussie critter. They are native to Central and South American rainforests. The car probably has the name because they are (sadly) also kept as pets.

    We haven't seen any special plates lately. But then, we haven't exactly gone anywhere besides work, and grocery shopping.
